A tribute to home

Not that there is a problem with my current location, but to me there really is no place like home!! But what is home? Is it a location? A city? A building with which u live? Home, to me, is where you are loved! Therefore my home is with my family but also with my friends!! My true friends! The ones that have leaned on me when they needed it, but also picked me up when i couldnt seem to manage myself. The ones that listened when i rambled on for hours or that i listened to all because i knew that its what they needed. The ones that cried in front of me when someone close to them departed to be in a better place. The ones that need me as much as i needed them when everything hit the fan! To my bro, my sis, my boys, skeet and all others! Thanx

TODAY!!

Today is apparently March 30 and it is absolutely beautiful. Sunny and near 70 today is by far the most beautiful day we've had this year! But arent they all beautiful. Indeed so because its the present. Everyday, whether it is raining or sunny, sunny or overcast, today is great because God has given us the opportunity to make the most of it, therefore, in my opinion, we should do just that!! Yesterday may have been great but u cant go back. You may look forward to tomorrow but you have to patiently wait for that time. So pride yourself in today because its all way have for certain.

Goodbye!!

Mackara

well i havent written n a few days which i greatly apologize for. i have been rather busy with school and work.

about school.......on wednesday nights i have a class called monetary economics. it starts at 4 and ends at 650. now if i had ping pong for that length of time i would get bored but monetary economics. lets b serious. its terrible. i pray that noone will have to go through what i go through on wednesday nights.

the guy that teaches it is about 5'6''. not that i have a problem with short people cuz im not really that tall, but this guy looks like gimli from the lord of the rings the only difference is he shaves. he's tiny!! not to mention he has a lisp which doesnt help and he's bald!! my attention span isnt great which you can probably tell from my writing. but its impossible for me to even care and or pay attention in the class. not to mention all he talks bout is the FED and how they regulate the required reserve ratio which really isnt as important as he makes it seem.

Ishlee hoo hoo!!!

A persons attempt to fit into a certain group of people.........can we say conformity? i think so. I really dont understand why people that try to be different from the "norm", but very similar to their own certain type of people say they arent conforming. I dont kno if anyone has realized this but we all conform to a certain degree, in some form or fashion. People like that are apparently ignorant. They dress different from the "norm". They act different than the "norm". But they are influenced by those that do it with them. Isnt that conformity in itself? Seems to me that they are conforming more to their cliche of people far more than a lot of people try to conform period.. im not sayin conformity is bad i just admire those that are individuals...but not because they want to b different. Just because thats how they are.
Ill go another step with that. THis is just something to think bout for those that read it. Ok society says we will make more money if we attend college and listen to a person that wants to be there less than the student. THen we as students assume they are smarter because of a piece of paper called a "doctorate" in a certain field of study. Dont tell me your smarter than me because of a piece of paper. Prove it. All professors do is spout off facts about a certain subject but rarely do they teach real education. The ability to think!!! Its great to make more money. Financial security is important, but society is pressing all young adults to attend college. But then there isnt enough of those people that like to work hard and do physical labor. Those people that do physical labor are important too. They may not be as "smart" ,through society's point of view, as the lucky ones who finish college but they are still needed. And society is telling everyone to go to college. Ok well something we should realize.....if everyone goes to college then who in hell's kitchen is going to do the hard work that 80% of the obese nation wont do?

Double O

so this weekend i took off mainly because noone other than tucker reads this page anyway. so i go home this weekend only to recognize the pride of athens, which is rather disturbing if u ask me. ok so saturday nite im hanging out havin a few beers but in moderation because thats how i do things. i am invited by a group of people to a local bar in my hometown called the "double o". i enter the building and am overwhelmed with the smell of smoke. i shun it and continue into the building. when i get to my so called "group" of people i take a bottle of bud light from the bucket of ice. i look to my left to see a lady that used to b very attractive with an interesting hair due to say the least. she had gained bout fifty pounds and the excess stomach we men prefer to call a beer gut was hangin from out of the bottom of her red shirt. i was immediately disgusted not because she's fat but the fact that she had no recognition of it. i leave the bar to use the restroom and then make my way to a table where more friends were seated. i peer onto the dance floor to see middle aged adults doing the "okey dokey" if u will. i became amused because its not everyday u see women in there mid fourties "droppin it like its hott"!!! not to mention that 80 % were over weight wearing something that wasnt sufficient for covering there excess baggage. not that i look down on obesity but when your flaunting what u have too much of i tend to draw the line. after that sight i decided the time had come for me to depart.
