 on a daily walk, it is so chilly that my toes feel tingly. i walk the streets alone, the bright lights streaming the buildings and trees (there still are a few around.) everyone is wrapped up warm; gloves and hats and scarves. there's a vibrant atmosphere everywhere. carol singers on pavements and christmas music in stores. maybe tinsle will serve a good purpose for my mood. i can't wait to roam around many more cities and see bright lights and breathe fresh, winter air. i would walk until i dropped if i could; there is so much life out there. if only i could walk all night, i'd be there by morning light. right now, i feel like having some dinner and some hot chocolate. then i'd love to cuddle under the covers with you, if you were here and then we could watch some movies and fall asleep. maybe a warm fire would help us get closer and hotter. i can imagine being in bed beside you and laughing at those little jokes of yours, and maybe some light teasing would be involved... unfortunately, i have a deadline on tuesday; so my night is filled with work and the coldness of missing you. :( |
