This is another collab with Ulf Pettersson. That wonderful musician from Sweden. This one is called "I wanna see". I originally wrote this song as a personal joke, but when Ulf heard it he really liked it and asked me if he could redo the music for it. I agreed without hesitation. So this is the result of his efforts. I have to say that I like it a lot better than my original arrangement.

As with the previous 4 songs. This one does not feature on my album "Sight Or Sound".

I would love to do more work with Ulf in the future, because I really respect the work he has done so far. Ulf also likes a lot of what i do, but we are both currently bogged down with other things to do. I've been slaving away with my side of music, and Ulf is currently writing music for film and television. So it's possible that you might have already heard some of his compositions happy.gif

Here's the song I did with him. "I wanna see":

Now for the next episode of events from my fathers life.

My Dad. Part 9.

I pointed out before that my dad knew a number of questionable people. I had a variety of friends before my father was a part of my world. It transpired that there was a possibility that some of the friends I made might not have been purely by chance. As a person, I do not judge people. I never have. If somebody was friendly to me, then I spoke to them. There were a few of my friends that told me that I shouldn't really mix with some of the people I met, because they were trouble. Nothing bad ever happened on those occasions where I graced their company. Beefcake is probably a bit of an insulting term, but they certainly weren't short on bravery. In fact, most people were afraid of them. Except me of course. They never gave me any reason to fear, and to be honest with you. I wasn't afraid of much at all. I was of the mind that if something bad came along, you dealt with it. There's no point worrying about the prospect. It turned out that my father knew all of those questionable individuals. Even some of those I'd worked with when I left school.

For legal reasons, this next bit is officially alleged. It's a tale from Cowgate road. My father recounted it clearly. There is no point bringing any court action against him. He's passed away now. It's all about the world famous welsh singer "Tom Jones". I reckon you probably know who he is. Apparently he had sex with a 14 year old in a field by Cowgate road. Pregnancy followed, but the poor girls life was cut short, because she died from leukemia. It's likely that she gave consent, but that kind of act was still illegal. I'm not sure if the story ever got out, but it's quite an astounding story, because he was an adult at the time. I would assume that it was not unusual for something like this to happen in the sixties. Tom Jones is not exactly a favourite among some of my family members. I can't say I'm that surprised.

To be continued.......

I've been getting lots of interest in my album since the release. It's going to be a few months before it is on sale in all the places it has been sent. Though it's already on CDBaby, Amazon and Itunes. You can check out some of the songs on my website at:

Jeff Edwards official website

You can get to Ulf Pettersson's site via my links page. There are also a number of free high quality downloads of some of my other songs!!

The youtube statistics section now.

It's getting pretty exciting with the subscribers now. There are currently 992. Almost at the thousand mark.

The channel views have raced forward to 23,296, and the viewing figures for all my videos combined is 397,648. They have seen an increase in their rate in the last several days.

Last, but by no means least....

That's 5 original songs on the trot. Now it is time for a few cover versions. The first of the cover songs will be "Lost" by "Coldplay". Quite a few people have asked me to do that one.
