Amazing horoscope

I usually don't care much for horoscopes but this week mine has been dead on. This is todays:

"A financial windfall might open new doors for you, dear Virgo, and you might be considering making some major changes in your life. You might think about moving to a nicer home. Romance is definitely on your mind, and if you aren't already involved in a domestic situation, you might consider it seriously right now. Change can be frightening, but these changes are good. Don't hesitate."

That makes me so happy! Does this mean things are finally going to happen?

Yay, the tonsil/adenoidectomy went very well. I spent the entire day in the hospital. The refused to let my leave recovery until I ate or drank something. They brought my Sprite and as you can imagine, after having your throat ripped out, carbonation HURTS. I opted for a banana popsicle and they let me go at 5:00. It was very strange waking up half-naked in recovery, snot prouring out my nose thanks to the breathing mask, and seeing a bunch of people passed out in the same room. It was SCARY. I have never had an operation or even stayed in the hospital over night and I never want to do it again.

I spent the next week sleeping, eating pudding and dozing out of consciousness the entire day. I watched plenty of celebrity garbage on VH1 and enough cooking shows to cook almost anything you want to try. For some reason, though I could only eat a tiny amount of food and was starving to death for a week, the Food Network didn't make me hungry!

The pain wasn't too bad, I had medication in liquid form that tasted like pineapple. However, when my throat started to heal I devloped a disguting taste in my mouth that overpowered everything except red Powerade.

The doctor told me that I wouldn't be able to return to work for 2 weeks after the surgery, but here I am...a week earlier than expected.

You have nothing to hide when you're drugged up and half-way out of a gown in recovery.

It\'s over until next year!

I thought that I would stop by and say that my holidays were great. Very busy, but they were nice. We spent Christmas morning with my family and Christmas afternoon with Nathan's. I got some nice and useful gifts but it didn't really feel like Christmas to me. Next year I want to be able to spend some time at my own house and relax.

New Year's was even less exciting than Christmas. My family went to bed at 9:00! Thankfully Nathan's parents always stay up to ring in the new year so we went over there and kept them up until 2am.

Sort of in reguards to this entry: I've decided on a major! I'm going back to school. Realtime Reporting is calling my name.

I'll be having my tonsils out next week so I'll be gone until at least February. Join me on Myspace?

Missing

I will be MIA until sometime in January. I wish I didn't have to but there is no way around it right now. For your information, I'm having my tonsils taken out (finally) January 12th. Keep me in your thoughts, it's going to be a very painful 2-week recovery. I might have time to update before then but after the survery I plan on being knocked out until I'm better.

Happy Holidays

No one good is coming within 2 hours of me in the next few months. I'm desperately seraching for another concert to go to.

Eeeeee, I'm see Jason Mraz in Nashville on Friday night! Only 3 more days!

Anyway, Catherine and I are heading to Nashville early that morning to find out exactly how to get to the auditorium from the hotel and to scout out some shopping areas. From there we might to to Memphis for Saturday night, I'm really not sure where we'll end up but I hope it's somewhere fun. I need some time away from things, especially the stress of work, Christmas and home. Just for one or two nights.

And now for random links because I have nothing else to say:
