Back to School

On Friday, November 10th I went down to Metropolitan State College of Denver and registered for classes. I am going for a degree in Biology to be able to take my career in a whole different direction.

You see earilier I was really interested in programming up until I got my current job. Which made me realize that I want to take my career in a whole different direction. Instead of being behind a computer desk all the time I want to be out in "the field" and actually doing work that will keep me from going crazy.

I am hoping that within 3 to 4 years I can have my bachelours degree in Biology/Wildlife Managment and be able to get into a position that I can enjoy. Right now I am not enjoying being behind a computer every day. Mainly because I am very restrained and not able to open up my abilities. Where as I will have more freedom out in the field. The deparment I am in is not really a techy department. There are very few techie jobs that do not pay as much to keep me interested in sitting behind a computer desk.

I will probably be taking a pay cut from what I really could be making programming but that is alright. I feel it is worth it to loving my job and wanting to do that job every single day instead of dreading the job you are going in to.

Anyhow thats the latest.
