Christmas Eve 2006 Gifts

Lyndsey's family has a tradition of spending Chistmas eve day with her Grandma and Grandpa and her Aunt and Uncle's family. We went over there around 11:00am. At which time we waited for everyone else to get there. Once everyone was there we got our list for what to order from Garamonies (an Italian place) and placed the order. After which we opened presents.

Lyndsey's Grandma and Grandpa gave me a brand new pair of Timberland hiking boots, which I love. Next her brother gave me a new Knife and hunting hat, which I also love. After that her Great Grandma gave me a nice pair of Deer Leather gloves and $30! After that her Uncle and Aunt gave us $45 to Lowes and a Measuring tape! Needless to say we were very spoiled with tons of money for fixing our new house. Finally her Grandma and Grandpa had tin pales which the super glued shut and put $50 + change in the containers. The trick was they were hard to open and made alot of noise. That was interesting and fun trying to get the lids off of those tin cans.

After all that was said and done our food was ready to eat. We ate a ton of food and than watched the Broncos beat the Bengals 23-24. That was a very good and intense game. Once the Broncos won we went upstairs and played "Battle of the Sexes," which was a great game but flawed. The game there is a line you cannot cross unless you get a missed turn. That was the major flaw of Battle of the Sexes. They needed a card that said something like "If you answer the next question right you may progress one." Either way it was fun for the first 30-45minutes after that everyone gave up because it was literally impossible to play a game that long that would probably keep going on for another 2 hours.

Once the game was over we all said our good-byes and went on our merry way. But I had a great day!

Thanks for Reading,
