Crazy Weekend of Fun

The past weekend was pretty crazy. It started off on Friday night taking Lyndsey to La Fondue restaurant for her birthday dinner where we both ate too much. The restaurant was a little pricey but worked out great for a birthday present. After that I worked on a Content Management Script, while she watched some TV. Saturday morning was the craziest morning I had in a long time. I was up and going at 5:30 am. Headed to Safeway to pick up some donuts and orange juice and Leif, Chancey and I were going to fix the fuel tank on my truck. That took us until 10:00 am. Once the tank was done and going good my truck ran great! It has been a long time since my truck ran that well.

Now it was off to Spyderco Knife Company where it took me a while to locate the actual place. After turning around and stopping at a few gas stations I finally found the Spyderco Knife Factory Outlet store. This was a special 1 day a year sale where you can get an $80 knife for $20. I found a knife and asked a co-worker to pick it up for me and I would hit him back with some cash come Monday as the wait was an hour and a half and I had a baseball game to get to at 12:00 pm. Now I am heading back to my place to pickup Lyndsey and head to her brother's baseball game at 12. It is about 90 degrees and Lyndsey's AC in her car does not work. Well her brother won the baseball game. This means as a sophomore he has a State Championship under his belt with 2 years of High School left. Awesome accomplishment their team made this year. After the game Lyndsey and I went back to my place where we had a little bit of a fight and I went for a bike ride in the rain. When I got back I went into my room and slept for 3 hours. That 90 degree weather with the sun beating down on me just wore me out completely. When I woke up I felt a ton better and was not nearly as grumpy.

Than Lyndsey and I went to the store to pick up some ice cream and water, which we forgot to get the water. After eating the ice cream Lyndsey left for bed. I stayed up for a while longer working on my laptop and watching Bad Boys with Will Smith and Martin Lawerance. Good movie. Now we are on Sunday. Lyndsey had to get up at 4:30am for work, poor thing. She got off at 8:30am though and was paid for 8 hours. That works! We basically lay around the house and watched a few TV shows. Than Lyndsey took off to go make alterations to her wedding dress and I cleaned up my apartment some. Than at 4:00pm I went over to Lyndsey's house for her birthday BBQ. Not very many people showed up, which was sad but Leif and Jacove and their kids came which was fun. Noah, my nephew is a cute kid. They left about the time a few of Lyndsey's friends showed up. At about 8:00pm everyone left and I stuck around to finish up my laundry, which Lyndsey's mom was nice enough to let me use their washer and dryer.

Getting in bed around 10:30pm last night I was tired. Having my fan on full blast I finally got to sleep and slept really well. This morning though I am very tired. Today's work day went by ridiculously fast which is awesome! I have a meeting with my Insurance agent tonight to discuss details of Lyndsey coming on than it is off to catch a few z's. Anyhow that was my crazy weekend!
