Do not Let me Play with Knives
Do not Let me Play with Knives
Almost every time I get bored and start fiddling around with my knife. When this happens I tend to take an object, a stick, a piece of plastic, something and start cutting it up. Well almost every time I do this I accidentally cut myself. It has been a long time since I cut myself with a knife. Remember I am not an intentional cutter, all this is on accident. So anyways today I had a microphone type deal. I start wondering, how do they make that headphone jack looking thing work? Well I start cutting out the internal parts, I am about to unlock my secret when WHOOPS my knife slips and slices the top of my thumb. I do not panic when I cut myself; I have cut myself too many times to have a need to panic. Instead I quietly get a napkin, grab a band aid and then off to the bathroom. After I wash out the cut I put the band aid on poof it is all better.
In reality I would not need a band aid. I put the band aid to prevent my blood getting all over the place. I will probably take off the band aid in an hour or so once my platelets have had time to scab up. I am worried about working on my truck tonight because I know I will get gas on me and that will be a fun time, gasoline on an open cut! At least it should be scabbed up a little bit before I do start to work on my truck, if that happens at all.
The lesson to be learned here is play with knives, just do not get cut. If you do get cut there is no need to panic, after all it is merely a flesh wound.
