Personal Music Taste

Everyone has their own distinguished taste in music from Classical to Death metal, there is no end. Personally my taste in music is getting a lot more refined day by day. Refined meaning I am finding that I cannot stand any new songs that are being released by new bands. There seems to be a huge downfall trend of the "Punk" genre which is one of my favorite Genre's of music. Listening to music classified as "Punk" today is not punk at all. Honestly if you think Yellowcard is punk listen to the Exploited or Rancid or the Ramones. True punk is dead. Punk died somewhere between 1999 and 2002. Now let's move onto what this new "Punk" music should be classified as.

New punk should be and is called Emo. "Emotional" which is defined as a whiney depressed teenager who thinks the world revolves around them and they are everything to the world but the world is nothing without them. Well to those people, GET A CLUE. The new "punk" is not punk at all, it is this emo crap music that has no taste and they all sound exactly the same. I cannot tell 1 band from another. Frankly I do not care too. At least with Rancid, Ramones and The Exploited you can definitely tell a difference. I hate to bash your type of music, but if you listen to emo, seriously you deserve it. Listen to some System of a Down or Aus Rotten. Listen to some music that has some bump to it that you CAN mosh to. I have yet to hear a good song on the radio that would be classified as emo that you could even mosh to. That is very sad indeed. Well onto another horrible genre.

New Country Music has to be in the same category as emo music. It just plain sucks. I like country music and I listen to it every once in a while. Well a few months ago I turned my station to KYGO, you know what I heard Pop and R&B music, not country. Country does not have all that flashy crap. The worst song out there is that Badonka Donk song. Come on people, that is not even country. It is pop watch the music video, its pop. If you want some good country listen to Marty Robins or even Garth Brooks. Country has gone down the hill on a runaway train. Good thing I have the songs I like from the old country songs on my computer, I may go crazy trying to listen to "country" on the radio.

Well now that those two styles of music have been bashed I will not state the genre of my favorite style. Given that I like a huge variety of music I will just list certain bands that I enjoy: System of a Down; Aerosmith; Ramones; The Exploited; Rancid; Smashing Pumpkins; Sublime; Spineshank; Mindless Self Indulgence; Type-O-Negative; to name a few. You cannot go wrong with any of those bands, so check them out. That is my personal taste in music.
