Stopping a Bad Habit
Stopping a Bad Habit
Many people have different habits, bad and good. I just so happen to have a bad habit (at least I see it as bad) I play video games online too much. Counter-Strike: Source is a game that David bought me about a year ago, Counter-Strike: Source. Counter-Strike: Source is an awesome game, but it is consuming me too much. I have been playing an average of 3-6 hours a day. That is a lot of time playing a video game. I plan on cutting that down to 1-3 hours a week maybe. There are many reasons for this cut back but here are the main ones.
First of all my life is now revolving around Counter-Strike: Source. It has taken control of me so much that whenever someone asks me to go out and have fun, I would choose to stay at home and play Counter-Strike: Source. Second Counter-Strike: Source is not helping me better myself. I am being dormant without learning any valuable skills that can help me further and better my life. Now instead of playing a Counter-Strike: Source anytime I am online I plan to either Code, Read up on Coding, or do some research to help better myself.
Breaking a habit is never easy, especially a bad habit. With playing Counter-Strike: Source less I hope to improve my mentality and better myself with new knowledge and something to show for my time on a computer.
