The world as we know it

So I am on my way to work today, and on the radio they are talking about how the world is so fast paced, over priced, and rude. I find this to be true! We are such a greedy and mean society lately, and for no reason. How hard would it be to just smile at someone you don't know?
For instance, a woman in Manhattan is 8 months pregnant and rides public transportation frequently. When she got on the bus, it was full, and no one moved for her. No one offered there seat to an obviously pregnant woman. So she stood for her entire ride, in pain, and miserable. Vary rarely does someone put her needs before there own. I understand that, no one did things like that for me when I was pregnant either. It is not like we expect it, but it just is confusing how people live with themselves being so selfish.
Like Starbucks. They make a bazillion dollars from us! People go there not only daily, but sometimes twice a day, and they raised the price a nickel! A whole nickel. It doesn't effect the consumer right away, but it does add up. It adds up in there pockets.
Same goes for drivers too. People are in such a hurry to get somewhere they literally risk there lives to get from point A to point B. They run red lights when they could wait an extra 3-5 minutes, not risk there life or anyone else's and what do you know, they are not breaking the law. Then there are those people that speed ahead of you, cut you off, then end up right by you the entire time. They didn't save themselves anytime, but they did just risk YOUR life, and didn't even get very far.
I could go on and on I am sure about situations similar to these, but I am sure you get my point. So moral of the story is, don't be so rude, don't be in such a hurry, and realize that other people have feelings too.
Signing off~
Jocelyn

So I sucked up my pride and went back to my moms house. As much as I hate being in her home, under her roof, and surronded in her anger and stupidity, I know that it would be better for my son in the long run. I can save up money for a house and get my credit back on track (had an ex boyfriend stole my ssn and went hog wild).
And, I get a new phone this week! Hopefully anways....Kinda excited since the phone I have now is a P.O.S. lol. And this week is payday week! I have so many things to buy its not even funny. Xmas presents and I need clothing really bad. I finally splurged last night and bought a winter coat. Its nice, I like it. Cost me about 40 dollars!!! But it is really cute and warm (and came with a free scarf lol).
I suppose that is all for now.....

How do you get that lonely...?

It was just another story printed on the second page
Underneath the Tiger's football score
It said he was only eighteen, a boy about my age
They found him face down on his bedroom floor
There'll be services on Friday at the Lawrence Funeral Home
Then out on Mooresville highway, they'll lay him 'neath a stone...
How do you get that lonely, how do you hurt that bad
To make you make the call, that havin' no life at all
Is better than the life that you had
How do you feel so empty, you want to let it all go
How do you get that lonely... and nobody knows
Did his girlfriend break up with him, did he buy or steal that gun?
Did he lose a fight with drugs or alcohol?
Did his Mom and Daddy forget to say I love you son?
Did no one see the writing on the wall?
I'm not blamin' anybody, we all do the best we can
I know hindsight's 20/20, but I still don't understand...
How do you get that lonely, how do you hurt that bad
To make you make the call, that havin' no life at all
Is better than the life that you had
How do you feel so empty, you want to let it all go
How do you get that lonely... and nobody knows
It was just another story printed on the second page
Underneath the Tiger's football score...

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- An American man caught 116 tossed grapes in his mouth in three minutes in what he hopes will become a new Guinness World Record, his publicity team said Thursday.
Steve "the Grape Guy" Spalding, 44, of Dallas, Texas also set a personal record for endurance grape catching, using his mouth to catch 1,203 grapes thrown from a distance of 15 feet over half an hour, according to publicist Deanna Brown.
No Guinness World Records officials were present at Spalding's grape-gobbling attempt, carried out Thursday in Australia overlooking Sydney's iconic Opera House.
But Brown said observers had filmed Spalding's attempt and would be submitting forms to Guinness officials in the hopes of creating a new record for speed grape-catching - the most grapes caught in the mouth over three minutes.
No current speed grape catching record exists, she said.
Guinness World Records has no offices in Australia, and the organization could not immediately be reached for comment.

Voodoo Practitioner Tries to Jinx Bush

BOGOR, Indonesia (AP) -- A renowned black magic practitioner performed a voodoo ritual Thursday to jinx President George W. Bush and his entourage while he was on a brief visit to Indonesia.
Ki Gendeng Pamungkas slit the throat of a goat, a small snake and stabbed a black crow in the chest, stirred their blood with spice and broccoli before drank the "potion" and smeared some on his face.
"I don't hate Americans, but I don't like Bush," said Pamungkas, who believed the ritual would succeed as, "the devil is with me today."
He said the jinx would sent spirits to posses Secret Service personnel guarding Bush and left them in a trance, leading them into falsely thinking the President was under attack, thus eventually causing chaos in Bogor Presidential Palace, where the American leader was scheduled to meet President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Monday.
Indonesia the world's most populous Muslim country, however many still practicing animist rituals, including black magic, that predate Islam's arrival in the archipelago.
"I am doing voodoo, because other ritual would not work," he told reporters after he conducted the gory ritual about 1 kilometers from the palace.

So I hate hypocrites and stupid people. Just so happens that my mommy dearest is both. And psycho on top of it. Unfortunatly I am stuck living under her roof until I can save up enough to move me and my son out. So for the last two days I have been at a friends house, stressed out beyond belief and trying to not be upset so that I do not upset my son.
On a positive note though, I found a program that might help me get my car fixed for free
So that will be nice

The Holidays

Because the holidays were never crazy enough, I decided to complicate them by having a child. I'll explain...
So my son is now three months old, thus he will be 4 months old for Christmas. I am no longer with his father, but now that we have a child together, I have to see him AND his family. Normally, I would explain that I only have my mom, and my mom only has me, so we would naturally spend the holidays together, and his family is more than welcome to visit. However, his father is suffering from lung cancer (which he claims looks like a piece of popcorn on his lung) and we do not know if he will even be here for the next holiday season. So, now, I have to make EVERYONE happy (dont bother telling me I don't, because I feel that I do).
So now I have to figure out what to get my son that is age appropriate that isn't a gazillion dollars. I am really into all the learning toys they have like leapfrog and Vtek. They are very useful tools in educating your child.
Well, I shall return to work and think of a way to solve this stupid holiday problem.....
