Fragile Heart

Listen to the tears dropping like crystal shattered upon impact with my delicate cheek,
open your eyes and see the hurt you have inflicted on me,
try and block out the pain you are sensing inside of me,
the one person I thought I could be true and honest with has walked away, turned his back, never caring about the being left behind.
The words of love and caresses smooth disappeared like mist on a fresh, crisp morn, the freshness gone, the crispness lingers...
disappointment touches the core of this heart,
flakes of snow coldy turn to ice,
this will never happen again my once dear friend,
the heart will now be bound in memory dust never being swept away, always remembering this sad, true day.
The tears may stop flowing, I may catch my breathe once again,
your love, your memories, your words and actions,
will be replaced with a blank, dark, void,
until the sun shares her warmth on my soul again,
there they will be buried, beneath this darkened stone,
then once unleashed a lesson will have been learned,
love with my body, my mind, my soul,
but keep this fragile heart wrapped up in cotton wool.

How Sweet is...

How sweet is parting sorrow,
a kiss upon the lips,
a warm and tender cuddle,
velvet fingertips...
How sweet are whispered wordings,
upon the midnight sky,
a hot and tender touching,
of worlds and emotions slipping by...
How sweet is the look upon his paled face,
the way he stares and trembles,
the gentle, friendly place,
the way he reaches for you...
so honest, free and true,
knowing that you'll never have to be lonely,
sad, alone or blue.

A new beginning...

It has been a real struggle trying to find a simple, clean and stress free site that suits my needs and now I hope I have found it.
I shall be posting here about every day life, my thoughts, my ramblings, my poetry and possibly extracts from the books I am writing, basically from whichever mood I am in.
I hope that you'll find something that will appeal to you, make you smile, feel the emotion I have touched and most of all keep you coming back for more.
