...and the sun shall rise as you look upon the world, but another light will come forth, a blinding and unholy light, and all the children of this time will burn in a devastating wave of fire, turning them into dust. And when the cloud decends upon the earth, those who survived will come forward from the ash of their brothers and sisters, not as the beautiful people they once were, but deformed by the unholy light that was set on them. And while the powers of this earth continue to wage war, the ones who had no part in their conflict will burn, only to die alone, with no one to care...

This goes to most of the people who write depressing and stupid blogs about how their life sucks. Here's what I say. SHUT UP. You think you've got it bad, think about the kids in Africa, who are having to fight and kill people and be killed by enemies. All you other people cry about is how your mother took your cell phone away from you, or those other that say that their summer sucked. SHUT UP! Nobody gives a shit what happened to your cell phone, maybe you shouldn't have wasted minutes on it, its your fault. and those complaining about summer, at least you have a summer. Kids in Africa don't, They have it all the time. Any way if your complain about the little things in life what more when you get into the real world where your parent or whoever, doesn't pay for everything you have. Take a good look at yourselves and think of others in this world that don't have cell phones or makeup or computer or any other shit. Really look deep down and look at what you really have.

Damn You Movie Pessimistics.

I have made an account on the IMDB (Internet Movie Database) and am able to access peoples comments on movies that are coming or already released. One movie that I am anticipating is Ender's Game, based off the novel by Orson Scott Card. Now, if you read Card (and like him), then I probably love you already (if you don't, that's cool too). Anyway, I was reading some of the comments on the upcoming film, and was extremely annoyed. These people kept saying stuff like "Don't watch it, it'll probably make you disappointed anyway" or "It has too much bad content". What do I say to those people? SHUT THE FUCK UP AND WAIT FOR THE GODDAMN MOVIE!! IT'S STILL TWO YEARS AWAY!! I'm sorry, but I seriously felt like that. "You don't judge a book by it's cover", so wait and see the movie. So, in ending, to all those pessimistic people out there who don't give any constructive criticism and complain about a movie that hasn't been shot, go shoot yourselves in the head.

P.S. Sorry if I'm an asshole, I can't help it

Raise your hand if you're sexually repressed.

I know I am. I once heard an analogy of sex and it goes like this: Sex is the Foribbiden Fruit, everyone knows not to eat it, but always wants to and does it anyway. From what I've heard, our sexual repressiveness started when the first colonials came to America. They dissaproved sex so much, they even thought that making love to your wife was sin(definition of fornication). Now, in america, we are like teenage guys that has had their first look at real boobies: We are all crazy about sex (at least I think we are).
I'm not saying sex is a bad thing. It can improve your mental and physical health, but what I disagree with is the way sex has been showed in the media. The media is now showing women (since america is still sort of a "Go Men!" society, which I don't agree with either), not as people, but as items that men can pick up and use to their pleasure. That is what is unhealthy about sex, it's the way the american society looks at sex.
What I think we need to do is find a healthier view on sex(I don't know how), and maybe then we can be more comfortable and less crazy with it.

What is the Purpose of Blog?

I'm kinda new at the blog thing, so help me if I make a mistake.
When I subscribed to this blog site, I was thinking a place where peoples opinions could be heard and commented on by other people. But, some (if not most) blogs are just about the people and what they are doing, more like a diary or journal than a blog. I was actually thinking "What's the point of writing something about yourself on the internet when you can do it on a journal?". After asking that question, I made an answer. In a journal, only your thoughts speak to you, and in some circumstances (such as depression, but I'm not saying everyone on aeonity is depressed) speaking to yourself isn't going to help with your problems. But, if you write it in a place where people can give advice and comfort you, it probably can be very therapeutic. Or, if you have friends online, you can tell if your day went well and all that jazz.
Comment if I got it right or wrong please.

Movies!!!

Lately, people have been talking about violence, sex, drugs, alcohol and other stuff that has been seeping slowly into our entertainment and is effecting us even more. Last year, for a class, I did a speech about this subject and wasn't able to grasp my views on the content I was talking about(this wasn't an opinion speech). Now, I've come to realize is that my opinion on movie content is this: I don't really care. I do care for the little kids that are being affected by the violence and stuff, but what I see goes like this. You have to look past all the shit the filmmakers throw at you to look at the core of the movie, that way you can decide if the movie is good or bad. Some movies, like Kill Bill, seemed to me to be just a lot of violence, gore, and a little more violence on top. The whole movie lost my interest, I don't doubt the story is good, it's just too covered in human entrails and blood.
I almost thought the same for Sin City. Come to think of it, Kill Bill and Sin City were about the same, so nevermind.
So basicly, to look at the core of the movie decides what your opinion about it is. Unless you're on of those people who love to watch violence, sex and other things just because. Don't worry, unless you guys have serious mental problems(or problems with popularity and sex life) you guys and gals are OK!

(By the way, I actually really like Sin City, so don't think I'm a hater.)

The Ruining of Comedy

I've been reading a book by Douglas Adams called "The Salmon of Doubt", all it is is a bunch of articles that he wrote on his computers. One article he wrote read that comedy as of late has become not humorus anymore. And I completely agree.
For example, I was watching a SNL clip on MSN video. It was a skit parody of Harry Potter. I watch it thinking"Oh good. SNL". But afterwards I thought "This isn't funny, it's stupid.". The whole thing was making jokes about how over the summer, hermonie(one of the main characters, played by lindsey lohan) had become noticeably hotter and also had a very noticeable cleavage. They also made jokes about how she seemed to not to notice her changes(sorry for the overuse of "notice"), and gave a sort of sterotpyical dumb blond routine. This can also be an example how sexually repressed americans are today. But that will come later.
I've seen one other newer show of SNL, and still I thought it was stupid. What happened? SNL was really good when they had people like Mike Myers, Steve Martin, Will Ferrel, Adam Sandler and many others. Now its lost it's touch.
This hasn't happened to everything, there is still some good shows out there. Such as The Daily Show and some stand up. Many are losing it. But, we can still find something good on tv or in a book(books I prefer.)
