Is there something about Valentine's Day that depresses everyone?

One of my best friends walks over to where we are and starts crying. She said that her ex got with another girl, and he said that he hated her, or something of the sort. I wanted to curse him out the two times I saw him SO badly. No one just gets off like that!
Also, on Valentine's Day, I always feel that something's going to happen, even if I don't have a valentine. But I saw him (the guy I never talk about here), and he's okay. I miss him in my English class ): But I didn't tell my best friend because if she finds out, she's going to tell my other best friend, and my best guy friend is going to tell the guy I have a crush on, and ALL hell is going to break loose. That's why I don't tell her anything. I told her who I was avoiding every day, and now she's like, "Why? Why?" Oh, shit.

gdc - February 15th, 2007 It is really annoying, I handed out some valentines last year for my Eng-Lit class and they were just for fun, like 30ppl got some Scooby-Doo valentine, including the total bit** in front of me, and then later that day and like for a week she kept on saying that I was some sort of lesbian and was out to get her. So to play into it *evil laugh* Every time I saw her I'd be all, "Hiiiiiiiii Jeeeeeeeeeeeeennnn" =) "You free this evening?" in the most sarcastic voice you could possibly imagine. People get annoying as hell where flavored bananas come from around this time, listen to emo-girlie, ban the fat faerie in the diaper. Cheers*
