Messianic Halakha comes to us from the Hebrew word to mean to walk, It is a term for rules and rulings that govern Jewish life. In this lesson we will cover of the Messianic Halakha importance of Shacharit, We have touched on the morning prayers in our past halakha lessons and today we want to dedicate this lesson specifically to Shacharit, There is some additional information to the essential purpose and reason for this Tefillah and i want to give you that additional information.

On the 25th when we resume the normality of our Kingdom Living Letters © news letters we will pick up on Minchah. It is to this purpose that when we end this series a few months a way that you our readers will have a complete list of Halakha as far as Messianic Judaism is concerned, I have sixteen more lessons to cover according to my notes, but it looks as if i may add some more to the list, I believe there are some additional Rabbinical Halakha lessons which i would like to add to the list. I think it would be undone without mentioning some of the latter Halakha studies which you should learn, mind you these lesson are mainly for New Jews and to reinforce what we already know, plus i have added to the Halakha my take on the lessons which you can dismiss or receive as fundamental resourceful information, Now the scriptures that have been listed with each lesson is given to prove that in the so called Old Testament(Tanakh) and in the so called New Testament( Brit Chadasha) that these Halakha lessons were the norm, and that even Yeshua himself observed Halakha and the scriptures proves that, Halakha was known to Rabbi Shaul and is a intertwining source in the text of the whole bible, as always if you have any questions concerning the lessons email us at mindchangingministries@minister.com

Lesson:

The Shacharit comes from the root word Shachar-meaning: Morning Light( Boqer Ohr)
The Shacharit is the mourning prayer, Halakha limits sections of this prayers recitation to the first three or four hours of the day while saying the Sh'ma and the Amidah, various prayers are said at this time upon arising. The Talis Koton (garment with Tzitzit) is put on or the Tallit is donned before and during the prayer service. The service starts with the morning blessing called: Birkot Ha'Shachar-including blessings for the Torah, the very next section is titled:
Pesukei D'Zimrah(Verse of Praise) containing portions of Tehillim passaged being Chapter(kothereth) 100 & 145-150
Tehillim 5.(as mentioned in the scripture listing above) verses 1-9 -says From The Orthodox Jewish Bible(The very best in my opinion!)

1.For the one directing. For the flutes. Mizmor Dovid)
2.Give ear to my words
Hashem, consider my meditation.

3.Pay heed unto the voice of my cry, Malki vElohai; for unto thee will I Daven(Shacharit, Tefillah, Prayers)
4.My Voice shalt thou hear in the boker(morning)
Hashem in the boker will I bring my prayer before thee as a spiritual sacrifice and wait for an answer.
5.For thou are not El that hath pleasure in resha, neither shall rah dwell with thee.
6.The holelim(arrogant) shall not stand in thy sight; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
7.Thou shalt destroy them that speak kazav(falsehood) Hashem will abhor
the Ish damim u'mirmah(bloody and deceitful man)
8.But as for me, I will come into thy Bais in the multitude of thy chesed
and in thy fear will i bow down toward Thy Heikhal Kodesh
9.Lead me , Hashem, in Thy tzedakah because of mine enemies
make Thy derech straight before my face.

Shacharit covers such prayers as Yehi Chevod
which is made from the tapestry of biblical verses followed by Shemot chap 14,15 and then supported by the Barechu- The public call to Tefillah which introduces a series of corporate expanded blessings embracing the Sh'ma, Amidah or Shemoneh Esrei- a series of 19 blessings directly thereafter the prayer of Tachanun- supplications- which are omitted on days with festive character. The concluding Tefillah is Aleinu.

The Shacharit commemorates The Tamid Shel Shachar
The sacrifices once offered in the Holy Temple every morning!!!
Since we don't have a Temple just yet to offer our offerings and sacrifices, we offer our prayers instead(very important for you to remember)

The Shacharit comes to us today and was given to us from Avraham, who would regularly
offer Tefillah in the morning to YHVH ( Genesis 21.14) and he taught his descendants to do likewise, even “Yeshua and his Talmidim did Shacharit in the mornings” ( Mark 1.35 ) WOW

The Amidah is the central, critical section of Shacharit around which the other sections were built, In the times of the Temple- Beit Ha'Mikdash- when full Tefillah services were not required, Tefillah consisted of the Amidah alone...

The Shacharit adds Torah readings on Shabbat, Holidays- Monday and Thursday- an additional service called a Musaf is sometimes added.

There are 39 steps and 7 sections to the Shacharit service

The Shacharit( Morning Service)interprets the form and content of the Shabbat Synagogue service. While conceived as a concert setting of the text, the harmonic melodic structure also contains references to the traditional Ashkenazic Prayer modes of the service
Baruch She'amar- Blessed is the one who spoke and the universe came into being, opens with an timpani roll expressing the creative force of the word, Torah. The call to public worship (Barechu) chanted with awe and reverence, uses an ascending major third and descending minor third, as in the traditional call and response, The Chazzan sings all the prayers and the Rabbi recited them with passion, vigor, humility and drawing to each word of the prayers to assure proper recitation and proper thoughts and mind set with the prayers as they are Kodesh and point us to YHVH and Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Keep in mind that these prayers are at least 3400 years old and Yeshua knew them and observed them as the scripture i showed you proved that, many assume that these prayers are all man made and imputed with man made traditions.

I want to correct that falsity, these prayers as the fiber of Judaism was a common normality for Jews at that time as today, mentioning these prayers would not have been anything uncommon or new or oblivious as apart of the core fabrics of Judaism, so it isn't surprising that Yeshua observed these and as a Jew spoke them as they are today in Hebrew, I have come to realize that since these Tefillah were a mode of life and apart of the scriptures as much as they are alive today, Yeshua and his Talmidim knew them well, well enough to recite them at the Temple for most of the times they went, for people who say the Old Law(Torah, Tanakh) has been done away with, can't see that the so called New Testament is nothing more but a continuity of all that ever was, Judaism doesn't have this mind set of Christianity were the doctrine and dogmas change depending on the mood, These core prayers are the same as they ever were, and they wore no new thing to Yeshua and they neither should be for us, Another thing i realize now is that until we learn Hebrew we will never realize our bibles and never able to connect the dotes of the times of Yeshua to this present age, “ He is here in Spirit, In the Liturgy, In the songs, In the Tallit, In Messianic Judaism and Judaism alike- He is here and when i hear the prayers it is easy to see him reciting them himself, It is easy to hear him calling out Tefillah, Davening, Baruchs and Sh'ma- because he did!! some how people really seem to see the Torah/ Tanakh and the New Testament as if they are not together- There really isn't any chapters in the Bible, men added that- from Genesis to Revelation it is all one-Echad not separated by any means, nor was it meant to be- It is complete as one, until we see that- we will forever separate the Law from grace, or Mercy from Torah-

When Yeshua never came to separate the Law or Torah, Matthew 5. When it states in verse 17. Don't think that I have come to abolish( chalaph- hasten away,chathath- break down,machah-erase) the Torah or the Prophets(Tanakh) I have come not to abolish( Destroy, break down, erase) but to complete(tamiym-entire completion,pleroo-to fill) 18. Yes indeed! I tell you that until Shomayim and HaEretz pass away(Heaven and Earth) not so much as a Yud or stroke will pass from the Torah not until everything that must happen has happened.

So then he is speaking as the Moshiach in the Brit Chadasha that he hasn't come to create a new religion that changes the very word of God, He hasn't come as a False Messiah that changes the word, He kept the word and never taught a contrary message to disobey Torah, The Torah will remain in place forever and will at the Yemei Ha'Mashiach Acharit Ha'Yamin be completed in him, Him stating that it won't pass until everything that must happen has happened, until the prophecies materialize and he returns as Ariel, It won't change, when he comes it won't change, his position changes from a meek and lowly shepherd to the lion of the Tribe of Judah, The Torah at that time will encompass those revelations as applying to himself, what will change is men won't be able to serve Judaism absent of Yeshua, what will change is that he will be Melech over Israel and men won't look for another Moshiach, What must happen is what Revelations states must happen, He has already been denied by men, who seek his father with out seeking him- That has already happened, What will happen is that the son of man must return, and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that”YES”this is Yeshua Ha'Mashiach- Moshiach of Israel and the world!! until that confession comes, until he returns and fulfills all things, Torah doesn't change, The Torah won't change- Heaven and earth shall pass away but the word shall stand, so when does it change, it doesn't change- It fulfills its place in Moshiach , that can't happen right now- because men won't allow it to happen, men won't believe the records that he is Yeshua the only Messiah, men won't serve him- They want Judaism absent of the real Messiah, but a day is coming when they shall recognize and bow themselves before him, when he comes that shall be a day of true Tefillah, not such as ever been seen before or heard out of the mouths of men!!!!!

LAWLESSNESS
Reliving the days of Noah

By Rabbi Aminadav Ben Avraham Hinton
This weeks Halakha Lesson will be emailed by Sunday or Monday

Scripture: SPECIAL REPORT

1 Peter 1.3-25-Be Holy-lined up with Lev 19.1-2/ James 1.1-27/ Hebrews 4.1-16/
Deut 30. 1-20/ Hosea 14.1-9
_______________________________
This is a lawless age, on Friday April 17th The Capital Resource Institute encouraged families to keep students from school as a day of silence, a campaign for Gay, Lesbian rights through
The Straight Education Network(GLSEN) Which is often used to make homosexual behavior appear normal on
school campuses .

Obama had an Easter Egg hunt at The White House with invitations to gays, a little girl came up to the microphone and stated how glad she was because she has two mommies.
Last week a teacher took a bunch of students to a gay show to learn about the rights of Homosexuality.

The stats say that 80% of parents are taking there children out of the public schools and educating them at home, or enrolling them at the area synagogue schools, I am in full agreement that it is time to take your children out of the public schools, one public school advisor stated that they had the right to teach the children whatever curriculum that they had in place, once the children are brought in the public school setting they have a right to educate them how they want to, and there correct, meaning this if you don't get your kids out of there then you in agreement for them to be taught whatever!

If you let your children go to The Public School System of Sodomites then Yea there going to brainwash them into the acceptance of every immoral satanic thing possible, It is time to do one of two things, If you are in the north take your children out of this deprived school system and educate them yourselves, another percentage of people are moving completely to more bible belt areas in the south, where scriptures are still being used as curriculum, I am in full agreement with that also, I know some people who are getting the heck up out of the north to move in areas in the south for a better life and to raise there children in some of the areas that are less likely to have Homosexuality and Lesbianism as the core class assignments. I am in full agreement that it is time to get the kids out of the school systems,

(1.) Not only is an arise of Gay Teaching going on. (2.) 77% or so of the teachers and educational faculty are messing around with the children (3.) The School Systems are cutting out music, gym, performing arts, crafts and technical life skills and programs like wecept which taught children skills to get employment or wood working or metal shop, They want to get rid of those programs for gay friendly programs even if they cost more, We are living the days of Noah, It is one thing for a person to be whatever they want to be, but to push that on people who don't believe in it is unacceptable,

The fact is legalities to back up personal agendas is not going to change the minds of people who really believe in God, and God has said such a lifestyle is an ABOMINATION- Leviticus 18.22/ Leviticus 20.13/ Romans 1.27

And we who are believers of the word of God believe just that, we don't go around knocking off people's heads and telling them there going to Hell for living that way even thou that is true, so we won't accept this government
progressively pushing this agenda to be accepted by all of us, because it won't be.

What i have discovered is that this isn't new this is the very sins that caused YHVH to destroy the whole wide world by water and i want to prove that to you by the Hebrew word used there in Genesis 6. We wore taught that YHVH destroyed the world because of SIN, but they did not tell you what sin it was? It was the sin of Homosexuality and Lesbianism that caused YHVH to destroy the whole world, people have become so accepted of this that even the Religious Authorities says nothing, some even agree with this, Again we don't plan on bothering people who live opposite of the scriptures plus we can't judge those that are without only those within, so if they live this way they will answer for it to God, but as long as you don't legislate it using our public funds, I am not planning on bothering people, thou we will stand up against it when government is trying to legislate it and take our income to support what obviously we don't agree on and neither does GOD.

Lawlessness means:
Not regulated by the authority of any laws, not in conformity with law(Torah) unruly and unwilling to be under subject or under any kind of authority.
Persons become an authority or a law to themselves, they disregard the law of YHVH and became a lawlessness to themselves by disregarding Yah's law completely -

Proverbs 14.12
There is a way which seems right unto a man(or woman) but the end thereof are the ways of death.

So a person is right in there own eyes, But i believe all persons wore given an inward knowing of right and wrong and each person has within them the inept longing to serve and worship something, each one has some of God within them, They then disregard his corrections, they dis avoid his rulings and serve there own selves, but in order to do that you would have to be able to be sered in conscience and a person can do that by not taking heed to YHVH warnings, so then when he sends them to Hell who can be blamed YHVH or the person, the person- warning won't do away with your own will,
If your will supersedes Yah's warning then we deserve everything that comes with that decision.

The Greek word for Lawless is Anomos or Anomia- pronounced anam-os/ anam- mia meaning without law, The opposite of Anomos would then be Nomos- having law.

Anomos then means someone that is Anti-Torah, Anti- Law, Anti- Instructions
The closet Hebrew words for Lawlessness would be

A. Shachat " Immorality
B. Chamas- Violent or Lawlessness( We will see this word again soon)

Lawless, Lawlessness are terms that describe people not restrained or controlled by Law or Torah, especially YHVH'S Law- Torah, Tanakh, Brit Chadasha (Bible) The Scriptures speaks of what lawlessness is:

C. Open Rebellion against God is lawlessness- 1 John 3.4
D. Those responsible for Yeshua's death including the Jews apart of his death >
are characterized as Lawless- Acts 2.23

E. Goyims in their Idolatry are Lawless -
1 Peter 4.3
F.The end time rebellious Anti-Messiah is called The man of lawlessness- 2 Thess 2.3
G. The lawless one is already at work, but is presently restrained- 2 Thess 2.6-7

H. The lawless one will be revealed before the return of Yeshua,
Yeshua will destroy the Anti- Messiah with his own breath- 2 Thess 2.8
Most people will serve the beast and his image because they don't know the scriptures!
some already think Obama is there Messiah!

Another form of lawlessness is termed as Antinomianism which is one who oppose the moral law. Antinomianism is the polar opposite of legalism. The notion that obedience to a code of religious law is necessary for salvation is far to much for some who want to be a law to themselves. Who could disprove the scriptures and dismiss the God who wrote them, All mankind knows God is real and all mankind knows that his word is true, but when it comes to doing what he said to do, they differ on and veritable opinions arise as they serve themselves and forfeit there place in eternity.

Some evidence of Antinomianism is mentioned in scripture throughout the Hebrew text, different covenants (Laws, Oracles, Mandates) are described in two of the covenants titled as Mosaic and Davidic.

The Davidic adds an emphasis of YHVH'S unconditional commitment to
The Mosaics apparent emphasis of YHVH'S demands, both Moshe and David describe the same eternal covenant, a covenant further expounded by Elijah, Isaiah and the other prophets , who have to continue to remind followers repeatedly of YHVH'S demands.

It is stated in Daniel 7. that certain powers will try to change (not expound) the Torah, In speaking of the little horn in Daniel 7. Many Jewish Minds relate this chapter to Antiochus Epiphanes -somehow erasing the thought of a message refering to the ten nations and the Anti-Messiah they relate this to Antiochus Epiphanes who was an Anti-Messiah but not thee Anti-Messiah,

In our Jewish History there has been many accounts of Holocausts from the Jews of Africa, African American Slavery, Spanish Inquisitions, Jews of Germany, Etc.

Daniel 7. 25 states:

He shall speak words against the most high, shall wear out the holy ones of the most high, and shall attempt to change the sacred seasons and the Torah, and they shall be given into his power for a time, two times and a half a time.
______________________________________

Some Jewish scholars base Daniel 7 with the events of The Maccabean Revolt 165 BCE against the Hellenization of the Jews by The Seleucid King Antiochus Epiphanes through this event we recognize as the feast called Hanukkah ?

The Apocrypha reads in
2 Macc 6.1
Not long after this the king (Antiochus) sent an Athenian Senator to force the Jews to abandon the customs of their ancestors and live no longer by the laws (Torah) of God.

1 Macc 1.14-15
So they built a gymnasium in Jerusalem according to gentile custom and removed the marks of circumcision and abandoned the holy covenant (Torah) They joined with the gentiles and sold themselves to do evil....

No wonder why the Jews want nothing to do with Gentiles!
______________________________________
Anomia as being unrighteousness, unlawful is found referenced in these additional scriptures for your personal study in:
Matt 7.23/ Matt 13.41/ Matt 23.28/ Matt 24.12/ Rom 4.7/ Rom 6.19/ 2 Cor 6.14/
2 Thess 2.7/ Titus 2.14/ Heb 1.9/ 1 John 3.4
______________________________________
Knowing to do right and being unwilling to do it is Anomia, Anomia is lawlessness

For just as the days of Noah were, in the same way will be the coming of the son of man- for as in those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in Marriage, until the day when Noah entered the Ark and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away- likewise just as it was in the days of Lot- they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, Fire and Sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all! So will it be on the day when the son of man is revealed- Matt 24. 38-9/ Luke 17. 28-30

What were these days of Noah like?

What can we say about Dor Ha'Mabul- The generation of the flood? In a word Yeshua told us that this generation was asleep, blind, ignorant, unaware- For ten consecutive generations from the creation of Adam until the generation of Noah, The people became progressively more and more ignorant of Torah, spiritual reality and truth. Forgetting who God is, spiritual blindness everything leading to corruption and violence.

Of Noahs generation- It is written “ That the earth was corrupt before God and filled with violence (Gen 6.11)

Rashi understood that word corruption (Shachat) to mean Sexual Immorality
( Idolatry) and violence (Chamas) to mean robbery,
These people wore killing each other, Homosexuality and Lesbianism was taking place and robbery was in place, The sins of Sodom and Gomorrah were worst even then Homosexuality and Lesbianism caused God to destroy those five cities and burn them and every single person involved in that abominations to be murdered by the hand of God himself, what would cause one to think God is not angry about this madness now, what is holding God from acting in my mind is prophecy and there fulfillment leading to the coming back of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach at that time he will destroy the world for good and those of us who kept the faith and obeyed Torah will be living in New Jerusalem.

The Condition of living without: Yirat Ha'Shamayim (Awe of Heaven)
when we are spiritually dead we are unconscious of the wonders of God.

Some of the sages think that Hashem's judgment came in stages.
The great flood was preceded by four successive generations of prophets that warned of the coming cataclysmic judgment: Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech and finally Noah.

It is fascinating to understand that Adam himself was alive when Noahs grandfather Methuselah was born. So the original message of Teshuvah was an echo that came from eden itself.

YHVH gave mankind 120 years to repent from his sexual corruptions of Homosexuality and Lesbianism and murder and sedition or be faced with destruction (Gen 6.3) despite Noahs 120 years of warning, YHVH saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination ( Homosexuality, Lesbianism, Bestiality Etc.) of the thoughts of mans heart was only evil continually
(Gen 6.5)
Mankind refused to repent and turn to God.

Yes you can do whatever it is you as a people want to do, but your doing doesn't change the penalty of sinning against God, a people can sleep with there family members, sleep with your own sex, or with animals or steal, or murder- they doing won't change the penalty of the scriptures, you will face an angry God and will go to Hell if you don't repent and turn from your evil ways. God is loving enough to draw people who are in those life styles if they want to be drawn, But it will be the same condition from the days of Noah to our present day that will cast judgment again

The legal systems wants to now stop radio and TV ministries from saying what the word says, they want to silence the message and besorah of YHVH- Yeshua

Why?

So people can do what they want without barring any guilt or consciousness for sinning against God, If they silence the radio stations, stop all the TV ministries, If they bar bible sales and close down every congregation- That won't stop God's judgment on sin, Since mans arms are two short to reach God, He is the one source that is untouchable !!! Since the days of Noah to our present day. Mankind refuses to repent and obey the word of God, they stand in Anomia through serving other gods in other religions, by these detestable practices and there lawlessness of the hearts. You see if a person won't serve YHVH they will serve something, We wore created to serve and worship, the object of that serving and worship is a totally a different thing due to our own will, intent, behaviorism conduct and minds.

The practice of lawlessness which is what it is( no one is born gay, like no one is born choosing there color or ethnicity, It is a persons choice to live in rebellion, it is a persons choice to decide sin over God. People use those cop outs to dishevel there minds of the guilt there facing )

The practice of lawlessness has led to the acceptance and practice of sexual promiscuity even in our laws of the land, which mind you don't supersede the laws of YHVH.
This intern resulted in the loss of mankind's sanctity( Kedushah) indeed it is a mark of our age to be enamored with degrading passions with gender confusion and regularly practiced Idolatry (Fornication, Adultery, Homosexuality,Lesbianism and all other kinds of Chamas)

I am not saying sins of Homosexuality and Lesbianism alone, all sin will lead anyone to Hell, If repentance doesn't take place-

If we lie, steal, cheat, lust, hate, commit fornication, adultery, any acts of lasciviousness will lead to Hell.

Lawlessness from depraved minds, causes a condition of being unable to reason properly at all. A depraved mind is literally insane from spiritual perspectives, people who are devoid of conscience are unable to reason along the lines of Ethical truth at all. This promoted and provided a cultural collusion to suppress truth, to silence the truth tellers, To kill the prophets, lawlessness squelches the inward voice of right and wrong within the human heart. Our culture today is surely as
” The days of Noah” It is a culture of rife with violence, madness and depravity and sexual confusion and dumbfounded idolatry,
The land has became a god to itself , To see a land called America which was build upon biblical principals, and family ideals, To see a place that was called America that has switched gods for the pleasing of the people is a sad affair, and we are becoming all to urgent for Yeshua to return.

And some are becoming very urgent to leave there state to try to find places that still uphold scriptures, that have family ethics and biblical roots.
Who don't want there money stolen from them to pay for sex operations and trans gender depravities, Why don't we see any one trying to trans gender from a person to a dog, or a frog or a muppet- It is getting that bad, but yet some how they have borders where they don't want to bark or hop or be a frog, which means then it is a rebelled mind who dishonors the word of God for there own driven passions.

From the governmental decrees, Our tax dollars support =plan parenthood, gay right organizations, We have here in NY State a Gay and Lesbian School for children, which takes tax dollars support, We don't want to allow men who want to be woman to go in the rest rooms with little girls, We don't want to pay for men who want to get operations, and we don't want to pay for Lesbian women who want to raise children that way or adopt children that way, We don't want that coming out of our pockets when we don't support that type of thing, So it is not a wonder to me that since 2001 over a million people have left NY state, and another 2 .5 million from these other northern states
and places like Detroit, Illniois, and other places are moving to places throughout the south like South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee has increased it's numbers dramatically because they don't accept or do gay marriages there, but the government here in NY wants it and are voting now to get it.

I just foresee biblical believers trying to find places that uphold biblical mandates moving to places in the south and some making there Aliyah to Israel- which we no will never have gay marriages or homosexual rights in the old city ,

But we do no all these things are suppose to be , Yeshua said it- but it isn't the end yet- All these things must come and the wicked one will seem to be winning but low and belond Yeshua is coming- get ready!

A message like this one would be considered as Hate speak, When all your doing is transposing the very message of the Bible, Why is it that if someone who doesn't believe a thing another believes it is hate speak, or evil. It isn't that it is hate speak, It is that people don't want to be reminded of there sins and the penalty of Hell, They don't want to consider that the very word which is of God in the scriptures is true enough for God to act upon,

I implore people to be visible in the Tea parties, and to let your voice be heard, they had a tea party here in Monroe County a week ago which i couldn't go to because it was Pesach, but i would further proceed by stating it is time for the believer to open there mouths and proclaim the scriptures before He who will let, has let : silence isn't an answer!

Why Messianic Halakha is needed
Part 11

By Rabbi Aminadav Ben Avraham Hinton

Theme: Dorema Eshkar

{ Term Definitions included at the end}

Script:
Minchah in the scripture-
Tehillim 141.1-10/ Tehillim 55. 1-23/ Dani'el 9.1-27/ Matthew 14.1-36
_____________________________________

Tehillim 141. 1-2 A Psalm of Dovid
YHVH, I have called you; come to me quickly ! Listen to my plea( Teshuvah) when I call to you.
Let me Tefillah be like incense set before you, my uplifted hands like the evening sacrifice( Korban, Minchah)

Mattityahu 14. 22-25 -Tefillah of Yeshua after Minchah
Immediately he had his talmidim get in the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the crowds away 23. After he had sent the crowds away, he went up into the hills by himself to daven (pray). Night came on. And he was there alone 24. But by this time, the boat was several miles from shore, battling a rough sea and a head wind. Around four o'clock in the morning ( Yeshua prayed, Davened for about eight hours at that hill, I wonder what was he praying about and for whom, maybe he was praying for his Talmidim's faith, don't really know )
He came toward them, walking on the lake!

< Read the rest, It is a wonderful story, Imagine waves as high as hills, rushing and gashing against the boat, turning the boat from side to side and all the talmidim are covered in water drenched completely and Yeshua in the midst of all this is walking through a typhoon on the sea as if it were dry land. >

Let me tell you a story:

I received a little news letter in the mail yesterday from
Dr. Kevin Meador of The Prayer Closet Ministries Inc.

Titled: Returning to God's Word

The first Paragraph reads

A little girl and her mother were cleaning house one morning.
As the daughter was dusting the coffee table. She noticed a Bible.
She dusted the bible and asked her mother.
“ Isn't this God's book?
The mother was elated that her daughter recognized that the Bible was God's book.
She replied”Why yes dear, that is God's book”
The daughter then said ,
“Well why don't we send it back to him, because we never use it”

This Story illustrates the unfortunate neglect of the Bible by so called believers. ______________________________________

Let get started on this week's Halakha Lesson.

Messianic Halakha comes to us from the Hebrew word to mean: To walk, This path, This way, It is a term for rules and rulings that govern Jewish life. In this lesson we will cover of the Messianic Halakha listings. We will cover the Halakha importance of Minchah- spelled with a Mem, Nun, Het & Hay- The Hebrew word Minchah means Gift or Giving. It is used for any gift or present, not just a sacrificial offering of Tefillah.

The Minchah offering allowed people to renew their commitment to give themselves to YHVH. In ancient Israel
the Minchah is the most ancient of offerings, Cain and Abel would have given a Minchah to YHVH, which later becomes a Tefillah for the evening, In Shemot 29. The Morning (Shachar, Boker) and evening( Erev) sacrifices are instituted as Minchah and Olah using wording that suggest these concepts would be already familiar to Moshe. It involved giving a small gift (Mattan) in the contrast to the animal which would become the Olah (Burnt Offering) The Minchah required two quarts of fine flour, flavored with oil and frankincense, being given to YHVH. The Cohanim would have added a handful at that time to the Altar. During the first century, the olah was still being used in more of less the same way, until the second temple was destroyed.

A Rabbi Mordecai Kornfield writes:

The Shacharis Tefillah is called Shacharis because it is the morning (Shachar) prayer and it corresponds to the morning Tamid offering . The night time tefillah is called either Arvis or Ma'ariv and is called such because it is said at night (Erev)
Why though is the afternoon tefillah called Minchah?

The Vilna Ga'on in Shenos Eliyahu adds that we find a person is allowed to recite Minchah until the very end of the day. If the afternoon tefillah was instituted to correspond to the afternoon Korban Tamid as the Gemera (26 b) states that the Korbans slaughtering was never done later than 8 ½ hours into the day, So why should we be able to daven after the time of the slaughtering of the Tamid?

The Minchah tefillah was instituted to correspond not to the offering of the Tamid, but to the Minchah offering that was brought with the Korban Tamid (During which Eliyahu's Tefillah were answered ) Which could be brought until the very end of the day (Sunset according to the Rabanah, Plag Ha'Minchah according to Rabbi Yehudah, He explains that the reason the time for the afternoon tefillah was determined by the Minchah offering (and the morning prayer was not) is because the Korban along with all of it's associated offering's make up one single group called the Korban Tamid. In the morning , the time of tefillah is determined by the first part of the Korban, which is the Minchah offering. Rambam (Perush Ha'Mishnayos) says that the later afternoon is called Minchah in Hebrew, in fact the Hebrew word for gift is Minchah- any Hebrew dictionary will prove that. And therefore the afternoon tefillah is called as such.

The Avudraham adds that the Torah refers to the late afternoon as Ruach Ha'Yom ( Bereishis 3.cool.gif which the Targum translates as “ Li Menach Yoma” which means the time the sun can be seen to be setting, hence the prayer said at that time is called Minchah

Aspects of Halakha for Minchah

The Gemara teaches the one who misses shacharis should recite two Shemoneh Esrei at Minchah similarly one who missed Minchah or Ma'ariv should say the following tefillah twice. What is the Halakha- spelt also Halacha and Halachah if a person forgot to say Ya'aleh V'Yavo during Minchah on Rosh Chodesh and he did not remember until night time after Rosh Chodesh ? Should he say Ma'ariv that night twice in order to make up for the Shemoneh Esrei that he lost.
( By not saying Ya'aleh V'Yavo ) during Minchah or should he not recite an extra Shemoneh Esrei because he already said them at Minchah, and he will not gain Ya'aleh V'Yavo because he does not recite it the night after Rosh Chodesh!

Answers: Tosfos (DH Ta;ah) cites two opinions in the Rishonim

(A.) Rabeinu Yehudah says that he not recite another Shemoneh Esrei at night to make up for omitting Ya'aleh V'Yavo in Minchah of the previous day, because he gains nothing by doing so

(B.) The RIF argues that he should recite a second Shemoneh Esrei at Ma'ariv even though he does not recite Ya'aleh V'Yavo in it.

It appears that the two opinions argue about the reason why a person must repeat Shemoneh Esrei altogether when he misses Ya'aleh V'Yavo on Rosh Chodesh, must he repeat Shemoneh Esrei because it lacked Ya'aleh V'Yavo and he must compensate for that. Or must he repeat it because his entire Shemoney Esrei is considered lacking, and therefore he must compensate for the entire Shemoneh Esrei?

Rabeinu Yehudah maintains that his entire Shemoneh Esrei is valid, but lacking Ya'aleh V'Yavo and therefore he must recite a second Shemoneh Esrei to make up for the missing Ya'aleh V'Yavo

consequently, If the recitation of another Shemoneh Esrei will not give him the Ya'aleh V'Yavo which he missed, there is no reason for him to repeat the Shemoneh Esrei.

The RIF , on the other hand, maintains that his entire Shemoneh Esrei is not a valid Tefillah, If he omitted Ya'aleh V'Yavo and therefore he must repeat it, even if he will not gain Ya'aleh V'Yavo by repeating it.

Halakha: The Rosh (4.2)
Says that the answer to this question remains in doubt. Therefore he concludes that one should recite a second Shemoneh Esrei at Ma'ariv but he should intend it as a Tefillah Nedavah
Since he is saying a Tefillah Nedavah due to a doubt as to whether he is actually obligated to recite another Shemoneh Esrei, he does not have to add a new request in his Tefillah, which one is normally required to do when reciting a Tefilas Nedavah. The Mishnah Berurah (OC 108:36) adds that if the night after Rosh Chodesh is a Shabbat or Yom Tov, one should not repeat Shemoneh Esrei, since a Tefilas Nedavah is not said on those days.

The primary obligation of Yom Tov is expressed in Torah- And you shall rejoice in your festival and you shall only be happy. This biblical obligation to rejoice is exclusively to Yom Tov " on Shabbats we are only required to honor the day and engage in pleasing activities, The basic guidelines are: We are to enjoy two meals on everyday of Yom Tov one at night and another during the day, It is a Mitzvah to eat meat and rink Etc.

Conclusion:
Traditions in Halakha do not compromise scripture as long as they line up with scripture, so they are important for us to learn, see you next week- Shavua Tov
