I will continue researching the subject and other subjects in Judaism that seems to stem out of paganism and write about them with biblical evidence to further prove wine and Judaism don't mix and other beliefs grafted in through our stay in the other nations don't mix either, I hold books on Judaism from every aspect of it's faith, our beliefs, and some estranged traditions passed on.
Judaism is the closest and clearest way to Yahweh, It is! but there are some man made systems in place also- shift between what's of Yahweh and what's of man and serve Yahweh without the inclusion of them even if leading people do observe them, I am not the voice for Judaism, not Messianic Judaism either,
I have not held the faith for long, But i do see what i do see!
Seeing messianic jews across the world, in fact i receive several news letters and notes every week mailed and emailed from over 15 messianic congregations and about another 18 that are not messianic-other branches of Judaism,
We have deemed we want the messiah- Yeshua Ha'Mashiach without having to pick up some of the man made beliefs, or adoptions of beliefs passed down from Israels stay among the nations like Egypt & Babylon- There are some things we won't honor like the name Ba'al and the month Tammuz- no one can tell me these two did not become apart of the slavery of staying and participating in the gods and goddesses of the people of the other nations.

I can't help but wonder why us Jews seem to put so much emphasis on drinking wine after shabbat, at meal time, at fellowship gatherings-Why are scriptures used to support drinking wine,Why do we need to drink it or be exposed to it right after Torah reading, Was Moshe a wine drinker, was Yeshua himself a wine drinker- and was the wine mentioned in scripture proofed with the amount of alcohol as of today. We do not believe you have to drink wine to proclaim your freedom as being Jewish and serving Hashem Yeshua. Why should a worldly device as wine be considered as Holy-We see wine as something promoting sin.
Imagine your off on your way to go somewhere and you see your Rabbi buying wine at the store, does that reflect a righteous image, Wine changes the condition of a persons cognition, thou Jews don't drink enough to get drunk- how do we proclaim the presence of The Ruach Hokodesh- Holy Spirit to come in with wine on the for thought of our minds.
Wine in our minds represent sin, transgression,Iniquity-
What does it have to do with salvation? Ive asked that question to my jewish brothers and received no answer.How does drinking wine and booze get me closer to Yeshua, how does it make me Pro-Torah, What i found out is that Judaism picked up Idol beliefs,practices and merged them into Judaism, the scripture indicate they even forget there own language being amongst these nations- Don't get me wrong Judaism is by far the closest way we can get to Hashem without the religion aspects of full fledge paganism but it does have it's errors also. Judaism states that God's original name was Baal- BA-All and that one of the Jewish months is named Tammuz= both names of pagan deities, I think Judaism has gained some pagan practices merged into there beliefs and wine is one of the pagan mergence.

Smiths Bible Dictionary states
The wine of antiquity were more like syrups many of them were not intoxicant, They were diluted with water-They contained even undiluted 4 or 5 percent of Alcohol from fermenting from the sun, not enough to be called Wine or proofed Wine as of today-
It was more like The carbonated Juice you can buy at the grocery store in a wine shaped bottle-The White Grape Juice Carbonated, I'm interested in what the Bible says only
Deuteronomy 29.2-29 says the jews drunk no wine all 40 years in the wilderness- It reads:
Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink that ye might know( Wine would cause one to forget G-d) that I am Adonai your Hashem(G-d)
Strong drink, wine is called oines which means unfermented- There is a range from unfermented to fermented- persons who want to get drunk allows the wine to ferment longer.
Proverbs 31.4-6
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, It is not for kings to drink wine, nor for princess strong drink lest they drink and forget-
(drink and forget what!) The Law/Torah and pervert(Corrupt)The judgment(order) of the afflicted. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to die!! and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts(Guilt Ridden,Sin infilled)
Romans 14.21-23
It is good neither to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor anything whereby thy brother stumbleth(Causes sin) or is offended or is made weak( to sins) Hast thou faith have it to thyself before God(not following men)Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.(The cause of drinking booze, cause of sin)And he that doubteth is damned if he eat,because he eateth not of faith for whatsoever is not faith is sin.
Gen 9.18-27-The drunken state of Noah.
I have heard that wine must have been fermented for Noah to get drunk(True!)
The scripture indicates Noah had so much wine he got drunk-His drunkenness is the cause of the sin that took place-had he not been drunk he would not have had to be covered. which indicates Noah allowed the wine to ferment enough for the alcohol level to be raised- His lust for wine caused a great horrific sin to take place-Our rabbi indicates that Noah's son lay with Noah's wife which is why he saw his father nakedness,I think something else happened in conclusion to this answer.
Leviticus 10.8-11(To Leadership,Priest,Rabbis)
And Adonai spake unto Aharon(Aaron-the priest-cohanim)saying do not drink wine thou, nor thy sons with thee,When you go into the tabernacle of the congregation
Beit Hamikdash-Least you die,It shall be a statute(vow,commandment,oracle)forever.
forever means never ending- which means no leader should be drinking wine, especially in the congregation-Aaron sons are
The Cohanim, The Cohanim are the Priest- all leadership that comes thereafter come through the leadership set forth by Aaron- God-Hashem said not to drink it forever!!
VS 9 ending: Forever throughout your generation(His generation is still here)
VS10. And that ye may put difference between holy(righteous) and unholy(Unrighteous) and between unclean(disorderly) and clean(Order) And that ye may teach the children of Israel-all the statues which the lord hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moshe.

Proverbs 23.20-21
Be not among winebibers(Intoxicators) among riotous eaters of flesh. For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty and drowsiness shall come to poverty and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.
Isaiah 5.11
Woe(Warning) unto them that rise early in the morning(Shabbat) that they may follow strong drink; that continue until until night till wine inflame them!
They drink at service, after service, at meal time, with friends, at every conversation, before shabbat, after shabbat, when shabbat is over- Sunday morning when they wake up-
I think we've got a lot of Alcoholic Rabbis out here.
Isaiah 5.22
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine and men of strength(Wisdom, Leaders) to mingle strong drink.
1 Timothy 5.23-Wine as a medicine only!
Drink no longer water, but use a little(It said little) wine for thy stomachs same and thine own infirmities(Illnesses)
Wine given to Yeshua as a mockery!He wouldn't drink it
Mark 15.23
And they gave him to drink wine mingled with Myrrh(a fragrant gum, which comes from an Arabian Shrub) But he received it not.
What does the Wisdom -Chokma chapter say about wine again..
Proverbs 20.1
Wine is a mocker(makes a fool out of the person) strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
Unfermented is wine-Hayine- Fermented is strong drink..
Isaiah 24.9
They shall drink with a song(There acting foolish)strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
If we Jews can drink wine but not enough to get drunk-Who gages between enough
Is it one cup, two cups,three cups or do you just gage it between the amount you lust for it, Trust me this news letter isn't going to stop any Jews we know from drinking wine nor non jews-because they lust for it and they all gage one cup or two or three is enough-
These scriptures all gage enough for my mind to be made up wine sucks, We never drunk wine anyway.
Isaiah 28.7-8[ warning to Jerusalem]
But they also have erred through wine and through strong drink are out of the way(Out of the way of Salvation)The priest and the prophets have erred through strong drink- they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink, They err in vision(Because there drunk)They stumble in judgment(No Sobriety-Clear thinking) For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness
( IN GODS HOUSE-THE TEMPLE) so that there is no place clean.
Habakkuk 2.4-5
Behold his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him, but the just(Righteous) shall live by faith(not by wine) Yea also, because he trangresseth by wine(BY WINE) He is a proud man neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as Hell, and is as death and cannot be satisfied but gathered unto himself all nations and heapeth unto him all people.
DONT FOLLOW PEOPLE,OR RABBIS FOLLOW THE LORD- IF THE RABBI IS FOLLOWING THE LORD THEN HEAR HIM.
Micah 6.15-16-
Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap. thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine(SHALL NOT) VS 16. For the statues or Omri (mixture with foreign nations) are kept and all the works of the house of Ahab(married Jezebel) and ye walk in their counsels that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing, therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people(So full of wine and sin that they can't do what God said to do)
If drinking wine drew me closer to Yeshua, I would drink my hearts full-but it doesn't-
I don't care what no one is saying the scripture speaks louder than men.
FURTHER PROOF FROM GOD'S WORD AGAINST WINE.
Deuteronomy 32.14-
Butter of Kine, and milk of sheep. with fat of lambs and rams of the breed of Bashan and goats with the fat of kidneys of wheat and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape-
Drinking the pure blood of the grapes- is it's juice not wine- Juice becomes wine when the person allows it to ferment, but it can't ferment without following the steps to get it to change it's course, The grape in and of its self isn't wine- To prove my point here is a list of how they make there wine-booze
WINE MAKING INGREDIENTS
There is a core group of wine making ingredients that are usually called
for in most all fruit and concentrate wine recipes. Each of these
ingredients play a specific and distinctly different role in the wine
making process. Here is a brief description of what these ingredients do.
Yeast Nutrient:
This is not yeast, but rather, energy for the yeast.
It insures that your yeast will ferment and make alcohol in
sufficient quantities.
Yeast Energizer:
Used in place of Yeast Nutrient when fermenting fruits that severely lack the set of nutrients yeast expects. It has a more extensive array of nutrients.
Pectic Enzyme:
This is added to help break down the fruit during fermentation. By using it you will extract more flavor and body from the fruit. It will also help to insure that your wine will clear up successfully.
Acid Blend:
This is used to help control the sharpness of the wine. [ Many wines will not have enough acid on their own making the wine taste flat or flabby] By adding Acid Blend you can correct the deficiency.
Wine Tannin:
This is the zest of the fruit in powder form. It is added to increase the character of the wine and to aid in its clarification after fermentation. It also helps the wine to take better advantage of aging during storage.
Wine Yeast
Added stuff)
This is the stuff that actually does all the work. It is what turns the sugar in the juice into alcohol.
Campden Tablets:
These tablets are added before fermentation and again before bottling. They insure that your wine does not spoil and remains fresh tasting up to the point of consumption.
SEE MY POINT--PEOPLE WANT YOU TO THINK WINE IS OF THE GRAPE ALONE, IT ISN'T GRAPE JUICE WILL REMAIN GRAPE JUICE, WHEN THE GRAPES GO BAD- IT BEGANS TO FERMENT NOT ENOUGH TO BE WINE WITHOUT THESE OTHER LISTINGS IVE NOTED FOR YOU THERE IS NO WINE.
Titus 1.7
For a episkopos-overseer-Leader must be blameless, as the steward of God, not self willed,nor soon angry, not given to wine(PERIOD) The Writer of The Complete Jewish Bible fixed the verse, He says not to much wine, sounds like permission to drink it, It's a translation written by a man, thou it is good there are other messianic translations ive found to be better
not violent,not given to filthy lucre(greedy for money) But a lover of Hospitality, a lover of good men,sober minded,just, holy,temperate, holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught that he may be able by sound(clear, direct) doctrine both to exhort and to confute(Convince) the gainsayers(Opposer's,Religious) VS 10.
For there are many unruly and vain talkers(Won't follow order, won't admit the truth- after the will of the flesh) and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision(Some of the Jews)
Vs 11. Whose mouths must be stopped who subvert( corrupt, twist, create new religions) whole houses teaching things which they ought not for filthy lucre sake-
USING THE BESORA-GOSPEL, TWISTING SCRIPTURES FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELF GAIN,SELF INTREST, GAINING THE TRUST OF MEN AND THEN TRICKING THEM INTO SCHEMES OF THE DEVIL-IN THE END THE CROOK GAINS YOUR MONEY, YOUR TRUST, YOUR FAITH AND THE ONLY PERSON HURTING IS YOU... DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST IN MAN- ANYTHING MAN TOUCHES BECOMES CORRUPT IN AND OF ITSELF, BECAUSE IT IS TANTED WITH HUMANITY. THE SCRIPTURE SAYS TO HONOR YOUR TEACHER-LEADER, THATS IT, NOT TO WORSHIP HIM
Matthew 9.17
neither do men put new wine into old bottles else the bottles break and the wine runneth out and the bottles die(Bottles don't die,He's talking about something else).but they put new wine into new bottles and both are preserved.
Here's another scripture men use to support wine drinking,If you think it's talking about booze then keep drinking- your life.
wine can only break bottles if there fermented, wine being put into new bottles to preserve it, I think Yeshua isn't talking about an acceptance to drink booze-while Yeshua was saying this an official came and kneeled down mentioning his daughter had died.
I think Yeshua used this story as a parable, to reference how we must be prepared for the bride, the prior verse being verse 15. Yeshua says: can wedding guest mourn while the bridegroom is still with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom is taking away from them; then they will fast VS 16. No one patches an old coat with a piece of unshrunk cloth, because the patch tairs away from the coat and leaves a worse hole- then he goes in to the wine section.
It would conclude before he ever gets to the wine part, That he is showing them his death to come and that the believer can't be torn, unprepared, Yeshua is talking about the new man- How his death will also cause his return, if he finds torn salvation among the believers then they are broken all together and will die.
You can picture the text as you like but you will have to conclude the whole chapter verses 1-38- Skin bottles don't die, they burst-The Complete Bible says ruined, The Scripture translation says ruined also. We then see him going to do miracles, The text seemed to show more than wine and i don't think than wine connotation had anything to do with booze, It was a parable of his people and what they look like, some will be ready and some wont.
Proverbs 21.17
He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man, He that loveth wine(Lusteth for Wine) and oil shall not be rich
Lamentations 1.15
The lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me. He hath called an assembly(congregation) against me to crush my young men, The Lord hath trodden the virgins the daughters of Judah(Jewish daughters) as in the wine press.
Revelations 14.19-20
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God, And the wine press was trodden
( Interesting the wine press was destroyed) without the city, and blood came out of the wine press even unto the horse bridles by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
Furlongs means death count:
which was 660 feet deep in the earth, that amount of dead.
Holman New Testament Commentary with Mind Changing Ministries Commentary:
The vintage is described in more detail than the grain harvest although the description begins similarly. The angel swung his sickle on the earth. literally he threw his sickle on the earth" The result was that he gathered it's grapes, literally he gathered the vineyard of the earth-His people verses the drunkards.
The detail now expand to paint a picture of judgment and horror. They are based on several OT scripture passages that compare divine judgment to treading the grapes in a wine press, for example the Lord speaks in Isaiah 63.3
I have trodden the wine press alone; from the nations no one was with me. I trampled them in my anger and trod them down in my wrath; their blood spattered my garments, and I stained all my clothing (See Joel 3:13)
Most ancient Jewish people of that time were acquainted with throwing grapes into a wine press. Near the vineyard awaited a rock hewn vat larger than a bathtub to receive grapes, They were trampled by foot and a hole led to a lower smaller basin where the juice drained to be collected for fermentation.
We must remember wine has other additives, I gave you there list earlier. so this fermentation without those ingredients was juice without proof or at the level of the alcohol of today.Thou it could become fermented to the level a drunkard wanted, It was possible by adding yeast, If a person wanted to become drunk it was possible by changing the course of the grape.
I am not saying wine in biblical times could not have become fermented with high quality of yeast added- sure if a drunkard wanted to be drunk he very easily increased the yeast amount, What i am saying is that does not make it Holy or for Jews today to be drinking, mans will verses Yahweh's will are totally opposite of each other.If you want to go out and sin, no one is stopping you from doing it, but it opposes Yahweh's will, wine does also
The great wine press of God's wrath is understood because of it's OT counterparts. The wrath of God in judgment has now fully arrived.
They were trampled in the wine press without any statement here of who is treading it, In the OT here we see Yahweh himself is treading it, He is treading down the wicked, The portrait of the return of Yeshua in chapter 19 further shows Yeshua dressed in a robe dipped in blood 19.13- a continuation of the wine press theme.
People use text like this to support there wine drinking or rather booze high proofed liquor drinking selves, when the text is showing the judgment about to come in the very near future to those who profess to be
Bnai Yeshua. children of Yeshua- The wine drinking messianic and the sinners shall be trodden down, Those who never accepted Yeshua shall receive the judgment which will include a many Jew, some of the Jews will accept him in the air at his return. Lets pray mercy for those who do not, who are looking for another moshiach.
Out side the city shows: The ancient wine vats which were not in towns but in the country.This is no particular city. Yeshua has showed us Judgment shall began in God's house first- In Jerusalem the Holy City- Judgment is coming to you first. then across the world.
Conclusion:
I have been planning for about five months or so to write a news letter about the wine and other sins seen in the Messianic movement, and in the various jewish branches that i am able to see and acknowledge, I have learned that you can give people truth but it is up to them to receive it or neglect it, We can't make people come to what is right, But it does not negate us from doing what we know to be right, There are others who are apart of congregations where they feel un-easied behind some conflicting realizations in the beliefs and they stand quiet. We know we get several persons who read our news letters or print them out,

It's about following Yeshua as close to scripture as we can humanly follow without the acceptance of things we full well know isn't scriptural- To follow Yeshua through the Judaism he set in place some two thousand and sum years ago which he observed.
until we reach that pursuit completely we will be undone and forever learning,growing and committing our lives to yeshua as we wait his return-

When we were Christian we left all aspects of novices with denominational belief systems and man made neo-paganism as Christianity is and became Nondenominational,Through further proof of Christianity we left it as it is an invention of Rome and have accepted all messianic principal, We shall be as sergeants of the scripture picking apart all of it to make certain we are following all of it, discarding man things as they need to be discarded when they come to the forfront

When i first completed this news letter i sent it out to a couple of rabbi friends of mine, The responce was amazing, not really negative at all but more than you might imagine they wore in agreement with me in many areas of the lesson and it made them really think about the subject matter and they agreed Judiasm has it's share of man made beliefs and problems in it and some things that don't belong, so then let's continue researching and teaching untill we get to the core and simply follow Yeshua without man's added mess.
