8. Oach- Creature
The bible's teaching on the creation of the universe is the central theme that runs from Bereshith(Genesis) to Hisgalus(Revelation)
It reveals how Hashem is eternal and transcendent. According to the fullness of Torah, There are three statements that would apply to the aspect of creation and our role in Hashem's plan.
1. Tikkun Olam- meaning to repair the world 2. Tikkun Atzmo- meaning to repair yourself 3. Talmud- Correct yourself and then correct others.
According to Torah thought, the existence of the Torah in humanity help fulfill the purpose of creation, The Torah says;
Moshe commanded us the Torah, an inheritance for the congregation of Yaakov- Deut 33.4
The Torah not only existed before the Jews came to Mt. Sinai- it preceded the universe itself, It even preceded the creation of time, for the entire world was created in accordance with the divine plan of Hashem through Yeshua, not separate of Yeshua- Hashem voice was his word and his word is Torah spoken before written- The plan has always been through Torah and Hashem is Torah.
The Talmud section- The Medrash Beraishis Rabba 1.2 says He looked at the Torah and created the world.
The medrash is a Hebrew term referring to the not exact, but comparative (homiletic) method of exegesis (hermeneutic) of Biblical texts, which is one of four methods compilation of homiletic teachings (Commentaries) on the Tanakh- Hebrew Bible/ OT in the form of Halakha.
Like any good architect who creates the blueprints before starting the work on a building, Hashem first created his blue print before creating the world- Talmud teaches that the forefathers of the Jewish people Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov- all followed with evening prayers- It's backed up with scriptures.
Biblical reference suggest that King Dovid and the prophet Daniel prayed three times a day. In Psalms, Dovid states: evening, morning and afternoon do i pray and cry, and he will hear my voice- Ps. 55.18. As in Dani'el:
His windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, He kneeled upon his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he done before- Daniel 6.11-
Early Jewish Commentators wrote that the forefathers even observed the jewish festivals, eating Matzah (Unleavened Bread) on Pesach and Building a Sukkah (Booth) on Sukkos- even before the Jewish people experienced the events now tied to these holidays, They detected and responded to the unique feast days during there seasons- Sukkos, The festival Booths is mandated by the Torah itself, in order that your generation know that i placed the Bnai Yisrael in Booths-
When i took them out of Egypt- I am Adonai your Hashem- Lev 23.43
The Talmud says that the booths were clouds of glory that surrounded Jewish People during the exodus-
A Sukkos before written in Torah was already being observed. When Hashem created the world the Torah was working in his voice. The Torah is his written voice verbalized in script, He spoke his will and that was Torah- Shebictav Torah Moshe..
The Torah was not given because of Moshe as most people think! The Torah was given from Yahweh for Moshe to give to the Jews. Most only honor Moshe as the founder and giver of the Torah, not true!- The Torah came from YHVH not Moshe-
Moshe bowed down before Hashem and was taught a Torah he himself did not know, commentators say he could have been up in the mountain for days, weeks, months- none the less he was learning the Torah- thou the Torah is the first five books of Moshe.
It is really The First Five books of YHVH given for Moshe to teach the people.
Moshe did not write the Torah opposite of being taught it first from YHVH himself, Moshe just like us can't teach something Hashem, Yeshua and Ha Ruach Hokodesh doesn't first reveal- Hashem needed to get Moshe away to the top of the mountain was not like the movies- where he is in front of the burning bush where he gets up and goes forth and does all the miracles and wonders, The Truth is YHVH was teaching him Torah so he could go and continually spread it from himself to Yoshua to the people- so after him it would continue to spread- for that was YHVH will. The Torah did not died when Moshe died!
I think Moshe was a great man, a leader in the vast heritage of Hashem and Torah-
But in all his splendor, glory, mighty works and spectacular feats- He is not YHVH!!
Let us give the credit to whom it is rightfully due YHVH
