Why Messianic Halakha is needed part 2
By Rabbi Aminadav Ben Avraham Hinton

*{Covenant Relationship} *
Scripture:
Gen 17.1-14/ Ex 12.25-50/ Deut 10. 1-21/ Romans 2.27-29/ John 7.1-39/ Act's 7.1-8/
Romans 4.9-25

AVRAHAM WAS THE FIRST GER
THE CONVERTED JEW

Gen 17. says from the The Complete Jewish Bible/ The Orthodox Jewish Bible in verse

1.When Avram was 99 years old YHVH appeared to Avram and said to him I am El Shaddai YHVH walk in my presence[ Halakha ] and be pure hearted. 2. I will make my covenant between me and you,and I will increase your numbers greatly 3. Avram fell on his face, and YHVH continued speaking with him. VS 9. YHVH said to Avraham ( not Avram any longer why?) as for you, you are to keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you, generation after generation 10.Here is my covenant, which you are to keep, between me and you, along with your descendants (Jews and Gentiles to come-Rabbi Shaul proves that later) after you: every male among you is to be circumcised 11. You are to be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; this will be the sign of the covenant between me and you

vs 14. Any uncircumcised male who will not let himself be circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin -that person will be cut off(destroyed- not connected with the G-d of Israel) from his people, because he has broken my covenant.

From The Orthodox Jewish Bible Vs 8- which proves Avraham was a converted Jew.

And I will give unto thee, and to thy zera after thee, the Eretz wherein thou art now a ger, kol Eretz Kena'an, for an Achuzzah (possession) olam (everlasting) and I will be their Elohim YHVH ___________________________________________________________________________
Avraham came from Ur with his family around 2,100 BCE- He grew up observing various idol gods and worshiping at Ziggurats , such Islam gods as Allah, The moon god piece of rock- which means he grew up directly in between Iran and Iraq, Which proves he was not a Jew, He was appointed as a gentile to lead YHVH'S People- Rabbi Shaul proves that

Romans 4. 9- 25 verse 9.

Now is this blessing for the circumcised only? Or is it also for the uncircumcised? For we say that Avraham's trust was credited to his account as righteousness 10.but what state was he in when it was so credited -circumcision or uncircumcision? Not in circumcision but in uncircumcision ! 11.In fact, he received circumcision as a sign(covenant, Judaism) as a seal [sphragizo-stamp with a signet- YHVH imprint] of the righteousness he had been credited with on the ground of the trust he had while he was still uncircumcised. This happened so that he could be the father of every uncircumcised person who trusts and thus has righteousness credited to him. 12. and at the same time be the father of every circumcised person who not only has had a Brit milah, but also follows in the footsteps of the trust which Avraham avinu had when he was still uncircumcised 13. For the promise to Avraham and his seed that he would inherit the world did not come through legalism ( Jewish Legalism ) but through the righteousness that trust produces 14. For if the heirs ( Jews and Gentiles) are produces by legalism( Jewish man made laws) , then trust is pointless and the promise is worthless.

YHVH called a gentile to head the Jewish nation, he converted him and Avram- which means exalted father became Avraham which means: Father of many- This Avraham would have been the first convert, no rabbi was there to draw him to a mohel, or to bring him to the mitzvot.

YHVH himself drew him from paganism and made him the father of all nations of Jews every where, from the shores of African to the largest structures of Russia, a gentile was used and after all those years of being used by YHVH, he converted to Judaism because YHVH told him that this signature or seal needed to be fulfilled, Look at what Yeshua said in

John 7.1-39[ read the whole chapter] for us we want to deal with verses 14- 24
Not until the festival(Sukkot) was half over did Yeshua go up to the Temple courts and begin to teach( teaching Torah) 15. The Yudeans were surprised: How does this man know so much without having studied(at a Yeshiva) they asked 16. So Yeshua gave them an answer. My teaching is not my own, it comes from the one who sent me. 17 If anyone wants to do his will, he will know whether my teaching is from YHVH or I speak on my own. 18.A person who speaks on his own is trying to win praise for himself; but a person who tries to win praise for the one who sent him is honest, there is nothing false about him 19. Didn't Moshe give you the Torah? Yet not one of you obeys the Torah! Why are you out to kill me? 20. you have a demon! The crowd answered. Who's out to kill you? 21.Yeshua answered them “ I did one thing; and because of this, all of you are amazed 22. Moshe gave you b'rit milah- not that it came from Moshe but from the patriarchs [ Avraham, Yitzchak, Ya'akov] - and you do a boy's Brit milah on Shabbat 23. If a boy is circumcised on Shabbat so that the Torah of Moshe will not be broken, why are you angry with me because I made a man's whole body well on Shabbat ? 24. Stop judging by surface appearances, and judge the right way!

The word Halacha comes from again. The Hebrew word to mean- To walk, it is a term used for the rules and ruling's that govern Jewish life. In this lesson we are covering the first section of the twenty five listing of the sets of Halakha at least based on the listing of Messianic Halakha, I concluded last week that outside of Messianic Judaism other branches of Judaism have over 221 listing's of Halakha- which are mainly man made sections of the sects of rabbinical and orthodox. As we see according to this lesson the importance of Brit Milah and how it signifies the seal, the covenant of YHVH as belong to him, It should not be done for purposed of Jewish Ethics and Jewish belief systems, It should be observed because YHVH stated his reasons for it being done, it reveals a sign between his covenant people verses his curses people. The scriptures listed reveal a covenant relationship, between YHVH and his people. A contract, between what is of YHVH verses those who don't belong to him at all.

Brit Milah means literally means: covenant of circumcision, We seem to forget that there are other covenants that YHVH made between himself and his people- The Moedim's are covenant's, The Brit Melach- Salt offering is a covenant, This covenant is equally important, This covenant is a perpetual covenant for every generation to continue, If they are apart of The G-d of Israel. The covenant between YHVH and Israel is through circumcision performed by a Mohel (circumciser) on the eighth day of the boy's life, The Jewish biblical law/ Torah demands that every male be circumcised according to Genesis 17.1-14- circumcision was enjoined when YHVH said: Walk before me and be perfect- What YHVH was saying was walk be before me and be Gamar , Become complete, whole- How can you become complete and whole, by obeying the commands of scriptures, his people would become gamar,or Avram became gamar by obeying, further it sealed his linage with us Jewish people forever , and it sealed every gentile forever who wants to serve The G-d of Israel, they are giving the acceptance through circumcision and through obedience of Torah, Gen 17. YHVH told Avraham to walk before me, walk now this way- His being a gentile wasn't enough- circumcision is not a gentile oracle, and medical circumcision is not spiritual or biblical circumcision. YHVH said walk before me and be or become perfect, This seal was a covenant, a perpetual signature of YHVH on his people forever, completed the order of scripture, fulfilling his connection with Torah, and all else who comes to accept this YHVH must circumcised every single male child born after eight day's, and every- Ger- who comes as an adult must be circumcised, receiving this Brit- covenant on them as belonging to Israel. If the male is not willing to do so, look at what YHVH and not Avraham has said about that man Gen 17. 14 Any uncircumcised male who will not let himself be circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin- that person will be cut off from his people, because(reason) he has broken( disobeyed) my covenant( briyth) We will talk about that more in a second, Avram was 99 year's old he had been used by YHVH to do many wonderful thing's, but he was still incomplete, because he represented YHVH but not Israel yet, Milah completed him and sealed him with the covenant, That fulfillment changed him in my opinion from Avram to Avraham- for 3500 years since the time of our forefather Avraham The Jewish people including Yeshua have observed circumcision as the foundational sign of the covenant, even proving who truly belongs to Yeshua and who doesn't, even proving those brothers who are apart of Torah and are not, circumcision doesn't prove salvation, but it does prove obedience, It does prove who really belongs to Yeshua and who really doesn't- seeing other the person will be cut off, The Torah isn't erased and done away, Yeshua stated he did not come to do away with the Torah- Matt 5. so the statements in Genesis 17 still stand, A covenant is a Briyth, a mutual agreement, Diatheke- an eternal contract. Brit Milah is the ultimate affirmation of Jewish Identity , no matter how close a bible believing brother is, without biblical, not medical circumcision, He is not identified with the G-d of the Jewish people and is in danger, for breaking that eternal perpetual covenant.
We have several things to cover in this chapter. The first is that YHVH states that He is going to make this covenant with Avraham, and through this covenant make Avraham a father of many nations, so that the nations (plural) may be blessed through him. And why is this word nation presented in the plural? Because YHVH, through this covenant, is not just going to bless Israel only, but all the nations outside of Israel as well.

You see, this isn’t just a covenant with the Jews, it’s not just a covenant with Judah, or Ephraim, or the 12 tribes, or one of the tribes. It is a covenant for all 12 tribes of the nation of Israel, and for the people of the nations outside of Israel who desire to be grafted in to Israel (Romans 11).

This covenant applies to people like me, and others like Ruth, Like The Samaritan women, like all gentiles since Avraham, like all the mixed people with Moshe in Exodus 12. and all of us till the time of Yeshua's return who have accepted the messiah of the Jews, The Torah of the Jews, This same Yeshua who was and still is a Jew, who taught in the Temple, observed all feast, and kept the Torah himself, who wore Tzitzit, Tefillin, Tillit, and fulfilled the whole body of scriptures not simply for Born Jews, or Gerim but also for the gentiles out here who don't know the Jewish messiah, who may know the mixed seed doctrine of a Christianized messiah, The Roman dogma like i myself once followed, But don;t know the truth about this Yeshua is never knew a term like Jesus, who never was a Christian or even observed easter and Halloween, Who was circumcised on the eight day and who kept observing his entire 33.1/2 years the whole Torah, Tanakh and died to birth Brit Chadasha for all men.

Why is covenant relationship's with our Moshiach and creator YHVH so important, thou they are Echad, why is it important. We are apart of that covenant that was given to Avraham, where it mentions descendants, that's us-When we have a covenant relationship with Yeshua- we are in mutual agreement to obey his commands, To love his rules and rulings, To love Law, Order, Instructions, He said his Torah, that is was not grevious, We are to love his commandments. Love him for loving us enough to allow us to learn them, and appreciate him enough for not condemning us when we were not obeying them out of our own ignorances
