Hello All, Well, This is going to be my first go round to tell the masses about my favorite hobby and help shed the light on some of the lies that the big bad breweries want you to belive. Yes I'm talking about Bud,miller and coors. The evil axis. They lie to consumers, and try to tell consumers that their beer is "cleaner and taste better than and import" Well my friends, that is a bold faced lie!!!! I have spent the better part of the last year trying numerous types of import and craft beers. and you know what I learned? Bud, miller and coors all basically taste like tap water. Now you may ask, why am I hating on the big 3 so much? Simple, They have dominated the beer industry for years, and I am sick of it. It is time for some quality breweries to step up and knock off the supposed king of beers, or great american lager. While most people on a first taste of a craft brew will not like it, It's not a let me try it and then give up on it. The key to it is, Keep trying things and find what you like. The very first time I had a sam adams boston lager, I hated it. Poured it down the sink....Now it is one of my go to favorites. Same thing with guinness. While I was learning my way around better beers, I learned in a hurry that you should just try new things and if you like it, expand from there. The first beer I tried that really opened the door for me was Newcastle Brown Ale. It was a very smooth and simple beer that lead me to more. From there I went on and tried numerous other brown ales, bocks and dopplebocks. If you can't tell, I love talking about beer, I would love to help people find what I have and come to enjoy the world of better beer.
