COPPA Policy

All users under the age of 13 must seek permission from their parent or guardian in order to gain membership of Aeonity Blog. While we welcome participation from members under 13, we require that a parent or guardian fax or mail back a signed permission form before we grant membership to our website.

The Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), effective April 21, 2000, applies to the online collection of personal information from children under 13. The new rules spell out what a Web site operator must include in a privacy policy, when and how to seek verifiable consent from a parent and what responsibilities an operator has to protect children’s privacy and safety online. The Federal Trade Commission staff, the Direct Marketing Association and the Internet Alliance prepared this guide to help you comply with the new requirements for protecting children’s privacy online and understand the FTC’s enforcement authority.

If you would like to start the registration process prior to us receiving a permission form, complete the new user information, the click the 'Register' button below. If you would like to cancel the registration, click here to return to the Aeonity Blog index.

A copy of the permission forms can be downloaded at this page below, and must be faxed or emailed in full.

For more information about the registration process, or Aeonity Blog in general we welcome you to contact us. All emails will be checked, and processed as they are recieved.
