Class today was combined (lower level with our level) so there was a lot of people in class. One of my friends who quit ballet two years ago, took class today. I miss having her around so it was great that she was there. My new Freeds arrived - fast turnaround - only 1 week! And came from overseas to boot. I hope they work for me.... Read More

Dead shoes

I wore an old pair of Sansha ovations (I wore them for a show in March, and by May, thought they were too dead). Plum was much better, even though the left shoe was a bit too dead for my taste. I need to get new pointe shoes. A totally different brand/model. Arg. I ordered some Freed Classics - should be coming in the next couple of weeks, but before that - I am stuck w/ So Dancas.
