Microsoft has been quietly counting down of the discounts offered by organizations considering upgrading to Office 2010.

As of June, Microsoft is offering a 50 percent discount to customers of Open Value Subscription 'upgrade to Office 2010. Microsoft calls this program discounts of up to (UTD), the date of the offer. If an organization can benefit or not depends on the version of Office that is currently allowed.

Open to them the value of the licensees of Office XP, offering half-off is already gone. No discount is available.

This Microsoft figures. Here is the UTD program, Microsoft offers a so-called N-2 "upgrade, which means that 50 per cent discount to two users' current generations of products with the publication of volume licensing services.
