The look everyone gives me

The same

Staring into space

Never letting on that

I am the one

Who will never know the truth

Living in my ignorance

Faking everyday with the thought that

One day I will be new

I will be transformed into the thing that I fear the most

A shadow

The shell of what is to come

Never whole

Unaware that everything is changing

Slowing

Become what was

Repeating

They fallow the leader

Pills turning into faces of the ones we lost

Each holding something that once was us

A part of us long gone

Given to the wind

Ashes floating on the breeze

Of what I never knew

Nor cared to find out

Things that never mattered

But now are life and death

The difference between night and day

Darks and whites

Never mixing

The faces

So different from the next

Each blending into one

With every given day

Never recognizing their true potential

Content to

Sit and stair into space

A space where nothing lives

Empty of all meaning

A life that was never really lived

Nor ever really look at

The movie no one wanted to see

Sitting in the dark theater

The hands that slowly move

Towards their goal

The once place they want to be

Never knowing who was watching

Not caring

Heading towards the goal
