Becoming a Veggie.

Zander and I are beginning to start slowly at becoming animal friendly. For now, we are partially becoming non-meat eaters. We shall only have meat at dinner, and eventually cut it entirely out of our diets. This way, our body will not react to a sudden change. Also, this will give us time to look more into keeping up a healthy meat-free diet while eating less meat. Wish us luck.
Last time I became a vegetarian, I had made the switch in less then 24 hours, and I had went from a fully diet of meat to a full diet without. This effected me a lot. I had no energy and a ton of headaches. I bruised easy. But this time, it should work out much better.

Anyway, I am posting good news from Peta. Has anyone heard of "J.Crew"? Well, apparently they are a big time clothing shop in America, and they have agreed to not sell fur!
"Joining the ranks of top fashion retailers H&M, Forever 21, Gap Inc., Banana Republic, and others that do not sell fur, J.Crew is sending a powerful message to the clothing industry that putting rabbits, coyotes, foxes, and other animals through horrible lives and torturous deaths will not be tolerated."

How pleasing.

Hope for the best with your veggie diet. I could not do it I love meat oo much. I try to eat it sparringly though about 3-4 times a week, just because too much meat can be bad for you =) But I guess that goes with anything.

Anyhow I would say just eat meat once or twice a week. I bet that way you will be healthier. Jsut some friendly advice. Best of luck to you.

Being a vegetarian is super easy after the first few weeks! I don't even miss meat at all! It makes me sick to think about it, or especially when I have to stomach it to put on a show...ack. I absolutely ADORE H&M. Most of my clothes come from there...absolutely gorgeous.

good luck with your new diet! i have been a vegetarian for seven years, and it had worked out really great. the important things is that you really know what you are eating, and that you eat right to get all the vitamins and such that your body needs. then you won't have the headaches. i know it sounds really hard, but too feel good it really is important. otherwise, your body obviously will stop working. i quit eating meat right away, but all bodies are different, on the other hand, when i tried being a vegan, i really didn't feel good. so your decision to quit slowly is really good. i'm sorry i don't have any webpages or something with recipes i can recommend, only in swedish, but i think you'll do fine! best of luck to you, i'm really glad you are going to do this! .
