Well, Monday was my 28th birthday (boy does time fly) and, yes I am a valentine's day baby. To celebrate, my sister had a birthday gathering for me and three of my brothers, whose birthdays were really close to mine. It was a lot of fun, and my sister went all oput with decoration, etc.. Anyway, like I said, I had a ball especially with all of my family and the kids.

Anyway, that wasn't the end of it, after class on Monday, my brothers Steven and Frank, who also live in San Marcos, picked me up and took me out to eat and Frank bought me a Medal of Honor game for my Xbox and we've both had fun with that.

I had a great 28th birthday and pre-birthday weekend. More posts coming soon.

mdeleon Freeware: Batch Images Now Feb 18th, 2005 8:38:19 am - Subscribe
I have a Flickr photo sharing account, and so I don't have to email pics, I downloaded the Flickr Uploadr. Usually I'd get my digital camera full with fresh new images, download the images to my comp and upload them via the Flickr Uploader.

After a while I saw that I had a monthly bamdwidth allowance to where I could only have so much sace worth of pictures to upload. I have my camera image size settings at the middle level which is still huge when you get them in photoshop, but I do like having decent-sized images to archive.

My solution at first was to open every image in Photoshop and resize thgem down to a still ecent size of 800x600. This was great because I can upload a heck of a lot more images to my Flickr account, however it is a time-consuming process especially if you have a trunkload of images.

Tonight, I decided to look for an application that was free, easy to use and that of course, would edit imaage sizes by the batch. I did a google search and came up with a freeware program called, "Batch Images Now."

Bath Images Now lets you select a directory of pics or just single click and add the pics you want and then select size and quality settings, then you select where you want images to go, hit the run button, and voila, you have all your new images resized and when your done uploading them, you'll have much more space for the rest of the months pictures. Try it out and let me know what ya think by commenting.
