Love is a war with many casualties, We eagerly run into the fire, In each other's eyes we found asylum, But we didn't see the mire, Trudging through the disagreeable air, The tears, rage, and madness, Of two people who care, Shattered hearts, broken dreams, Resenting our most valuable commodity, Over petty, senseless things, We are lost, in a dank and frightening place, If I could only hear your words, Or touch my hand upon your face, One last breath of sunlight, Worth every battle in the war, -Heather Marie Abissi |

Today, the fourth grader's were gone to a choir performance so I decided to wonder around with a digital camera to take pics for the newspaper and just to take odd pictuers and stuff. The first one is with Sara, one of my newspaper girls with her friends when I was subbing for a class for a while this morning. The others are of a library shelf, I though it was odd, but it had a copy of my favorite book, Click, Clack Moo on it.The last one is a locker Steven designated for Calvin.

I thought Tuesday would just be another day at school, but when one of the third grade teachers was out and a sub could not be found, my principal gave me the news that I would be going to the rodeo in austin with the third graders. I guess being the thiird grade TA has some perks. I watched the class with the the student teacher, but it was pretty much a breeze so I shot some pics whi;e I was there.
