mdeleon Flying Away - Subscribe

Well today has been pretty good so far. It's the last day of work at the elementary school I work at and after school ends Monica and I are going to the Austin Airport and flying to Springfield Missouri to visit her family for Christmas and New Year's.

I started my day off with two concerts. I sing for the school's faculty band with two of my brothers who are teachers. We sang a bunch of Christmas songs for the kids and they loved it.

Well if I don't blog during my vacation, I wish you all a Happy Holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Near

When my brother Frank came back from his Summer Vacation in Mexico City recently, he gave me a journal he bought there. It's wooden and has a painting similar to the one at right by Diego Rivera.

Since then, every once in a while, I write in there about anything, my thoughts, opinions etc...

I'm on my first real vacation since the beginning of my working life. Monica and I decided to fly to Missouri (Ft. Wood)
