Mood: bored as well

These are the two most typical emotions of a student at this school.

What are feelings of being trapped and bored, Trebek?

Stats today was interesting. So I'm sitting in class listening to Ms. L discuss correlation when this girl who sits near me randomly asks me if I'm in Spanish 5. I say yes, because, well, I don't think it matters. Well, she then asks me what my grade in that class is. Now EVERYBODY(!!!) agrees with me about just how random this is. I lie and say that I have an A- when I really have a B+ just to see what she does and because it's none of her damn business what grade I REALLY have. Apparently, she must either think that I'm extremely stupid or she's heard about just how difficult that class really is. So then she asks this guy that also happens to be in Spanish 5 about his grade in that class who would probably be perceived as more intelligent than I am because he's NHS and NMSF and all this other crap that only the seemingly smart people are in whereas I have a 3.0 GPA and didn't even take the PSATs because I didn't feel like it that day. Stats will be interesting tomorrow, but not as interesting as Spanish.

Mom's really pissed off at me for something I did last night. We live in this gated community, so you need a gate/garage opener to get in (and out). Well, I took her keys because I was late for school and wanted to get there faster because she has the one opener. I come home and find the door is open (as in unlocked, not ajar). My mom is always getting pissy at me because I occasionally leave the door unlocked, but for her to do it was just abnormal. So, I check both pockets of my jeans to find that I have BOTH sets of keys. Needless to say, she was in a really bad mood when she got home.

And now, for a completely different subject: Pep Rallies. We have on Friday for Homecoming. Thankfully, I'm smart enough to know that I need to attempt to ditch it. I'm also smart enough to skip Homecoming the Game and Homecoming the Dance because I have to work on those nights at my minimum-wage job (that was actually intentional, by the way.) I just hope that we win because if we lose, then it won't be fun to see a bunch of pouting jock(strap)s in my classes. Plus, if my Economics teacher is in a foul mood, he'll give us free unwarranted spleenectomies (unless we're cheerleaders).

My Theories of the Day (TOTD):

In this world, there are many personality types, but no person will ever be able to fit into one category.

Life is nothing more than being born, growing up, procreating (unless you've, ah, misplaced the equipment along the way to this step), shrinking, and dying.

One's personality is another's boredom.
