as you filled my life
by asking me to be yours
though taken aback, i agreed
you changed me in a way
i felt great being with you
i am never the same as i was before
i just love you more each passing day
i can feel the way you cupped my hands
your fingers between the gaps of mine
your lips capturing mine
the way you held me tight
though you are not around
i can still feel and imagine
all of this taking place
as if it is happening now itself
