ok, so i have decided that i WILL NOT keep this journal as a dead journal. i tried to start a live journal but i just cant get into it. i like aeonity the beest because i can do with it what i please. plus i have blogged here for years it seems like. tons of entries.

the first week of graduate school has ended and i am doing Army ROTC. i love it. its so fun and exciting. i got all of my fatigues and uniform for the FTX coming up in late October and into November. i am looking forward to it. i have decided that i am going to do ROTC with the Army because they are going to let me do it and i am sick and tired of getting run around bullshit with police departments. for one reason or another they dont want to hire me or continue the process so damned long i just give up and say to hell with it. but the Army is going to be great. I am going to be a 2nd Lieutenant and leading my men. i am still undecided on what branch i am going to take. i dont know if i want to go in for 8 years and get the branch i want or what. i wanna do military police but thats a dangerous branch and i would definitely be in iraq more than likely. i al also thinking about the Adjutant General's Corps. it is the 2nd oldest branch in the US Army. George Washington created it back in the late 1700's. i read that on one of the Army fliers i was given at ROTC.

well i am going to go to bed. i am tired and was up early this morning and in Morristown at the police department for an interview. it went , eh, ok. i am exhausted and ready for bed. GOODNIGHT!!! cool.gif

graduate school is going well... i have heard that the first semester is ALWAYS the easiest, etc... and all the profs want you to think that its going to be incredibly hard, etc etc... i hope it isnt that bad.. i mean dont get me wrong, it is work... lots of it... but i think i am going to be alright, as far as that goes. i am looking forward to the Army. i am doing ROTC as everyone that knows me, knows and i love it. i am learning alot about our military, our fine Army and all that we are, were, and are going to be in the future. the United States really is the best country in the world. no doubt. God bless the USA.

this evening i was sitting here at my new desk that i got the other day and just reading a chapter in one of my American Military History text books and i was reading about a few of my heroes; Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee. i read in the text that Robert E. Lee was and is the greatest General that this nation has ever produced, and that the world has ever known. Lt. Gen. Stonewall Jackson is one of my heroes as well. Lee and Jackson were Generals in the Confederate States of America back in the Civil War for those who dont know. these 2 men were the best military minds this world has EVER known, that is NOT negotiable. it is a fact. i am astonished at the way the men just adored them and followed them so amazingly... the CSA was outnumbered and outmanned in various ways in the american civil war and STILL killed more yankess then they killed of us... amazing. the south has always produced the best military minds and soldiers. God bless the CSA.

I long and cant wait to join the US Army like all the other fine military minds such as Lee and Jackson. God give me the strength and patience to be all I can be.

Goodnight~! cool.gif
