Heaps of comments Makes me think this site might be the go. Joanne, I'm from waaay out east, in the Dandenong Ranges, if you've ever heard of Puffing Billy, or the Tulip Fesitival, you're in the right area. So... my weekend... hehe. It was pretty wild I have to admit, Saturday morning was the concert with my choir! (YAY!) It went well, the altos were rather "creative" about a few parts, but Belinda didn't seem to notice too badly. Saturday evening was spent at another friend's house... and I have to admit I was quite the drunk. I had a pretty good time overall though. Then Sunday I went to stay at Nickers's (best friend) dad's place with her. That was pretty alright, except the evil harpy woman (step-mother) from hell kissed me goodnight... scary. Then Monday.... oh yes Monday.... WOW! NIGHTWISH ROCK! Well, thankyou to my wonderful, darling friend Jad, Chris and I were able to go to the Nightwish (they're a Finnish band) concert in the city. WHOOT! Let's just say.... THEY ABSOLUTELY ROCKED! OMG, they were hella awesome, and the lead singer Tarja is even more beautiful in real life than she is in pictures! At one point I swear it felt like she looked right at me! Holy hell... it was AMAZING. We were pretty close to the front actually, and every time the crowd moved a little, everyone from our group got a hold of me so I wouldn't get knocked over or lost. that was cool... lol surrounded by five guys. I wasn't complaining. And then we caught the train home and Jad and Chris (my beloved) acting like real reatards and belted each other up with newspapers so hard thatt he Connex (train security) guys kept looking at us, and this other girl a little way away from us was trying not to laugh. Silly buggers. I have choir tonight... and absolutely no idea if I'm able to get a lift up the road or what... (see someone usually picks me and another girl up and takes us to choir, but I haven't heard anything this week... guess I should call Belinda) Anyways, due to getting home pretty late from the concert, I've only just gotten out of bed, so I'm gonna go change and get ready for choir etc. (There may well be another update on how much I LOVED Nightwish later on.

Well... due to the lovely responses I've recieved from joanne, among others, I'm staying with emoblog! Yay! Any questions people? Miranda |

well... here i am at emo blog... i haven't recieved many questions about me yet people. although i really have told you everything you could possibly want (or not wnt) to know about me. Happy Easter to you all... I hope that plenty of chocolate was involved for everyone. i am tired... it's nearly 1/2 past two here... but it feels like 3 b/c of daylight savings and such. bah... why do they have to do that to us anyway? i'm waiting for my friend to come back online, so i can compare more notes about how dodgy this sotry i wrote in year 10 was. i got an A+ for it... but that doens't mean anything. c'mon people... questions.... questions... you don't even have to be a user of this site... i've allowed anonymous comments. tell me what you want to read about here... |

Joanne asked me about daylight svaings in my previous blog... well why does it exist? Do give us more daylight hours in summer (so it's still light around 7-8pm) and make 5-6am in winter more bright so it's not cold and miserable. Hell... Melbourne weather is never anything but cold and miserable. I exaggerate... Melbourne weather is notoriously touchy, but we do often have lovely sunny days to counteract the rain. I honestly don't see the point of daylight savings myself... anyways Queensland doesn't even follow it... and the US and Canada's clocks are changing NEXT weekend, so it means the carefully pre-arranged time zones are screwed up! I had choir today, which was nice as always. We're learning Menndelsohnn's "Elijah" which is a GIANT symphony with 23 choral movements for us to learn. A movement is like a song... about the same length... and there are 23 of them I have to learn... and then perform almost 1 after the other in a giant concert. Tomorrow... my beloved is coming over... and staying the night! Yay... means I get to be with him and sleep well. See, I'm scared of the dark and hate sleeping alone. (of course there's some ulterior motive to having him to stay but I really do sleep better if someone else is in the room with me) Last night I made the most awesome dinner... chicken kebabs, potato wedges and two GREAT sauces to go with... peanut satay for one, and garlic yoghurt for the other. I had indigestion today tho coz I ate so much. Otherwise, I'm all good and happy, and I can't wait to see Chris tomorrow! Miranda xxxox |
