| Melbourne Cup Winner |
Mar 24th, 2010 10:42:29 pm - Subscribe |
| I just found out today that the Melbourne Cup Winner for this year will be the winner of the 150th Melbourne Cup. The Melbourne Cup race was first held in 1861. Back then the horse race wasn't as famous, but the story is quite different now. Archer was the name of the horse that won the first Melbourne Cup. If you want to know who will be the Melbourne Cup Winner, then you got to start doing a little bit of research. Everyone has their techniques of choosing the winner. You could just go for your lucky number. Millions of people across the world tune into this major event that gets held once a year. That day is a public holiday for us Melbourne people. Great day to just place a bet and see what happens. The sense of excitement is just amazing, it truly is the race that stops a nation. Do you know who will be the Melbourne Cup Winner? |

| Home loans for first time buyers |

| If you are looking for your first home. You are definitely going to get a home loan. Unless you are one of those super rich people that can afford anything then this need not apply to you. It still pays for anyone to get a home loan because you are using the banks money and not your own which is always a great thing. Home loans for first time buyers are a scary thought for most. Having a huge debt of $300k or more in your bank account just doesn't sit too well with some. However, this is known as good debt. If you rent out the home, you might be able to cover the interest repayments just with rental income alone. In effect, the person renting out your house is helping you pay off the house. A very neat concept. If you are in Australia like me, you might want to take a look at my blog for more information. |

| Nintendo 3DS |

| Nintendo has been at it again. When you think that they can't do anything more but to add another screen to the Nintendo DS, they make a move to 3D. The new Nintendo 3DS will features a 3D screen which allows gamers to play 3D games without the need for special glasses. The technology to display 3D has been around for some time, but never has it been used for 3D portable gaming. Nintendo is at the lead when it comes to sales of handheld gaming devices. Sony PSP doesn't even come close to the figures Nintendo are producing. I can't wait till Nintendo releases this new Nintendo 3DS in the first quarter next year. |

| Holy Thursday which is also known as Maundy Thursday is coming up very soon. It is the Thursday before Easter. Easter has always been a great time to give and receive lots of Easter eggs. I know it shouldn't be about the chocolate eggs and more of a religious period of the year. It is a very important day for Christians and lots of people will be going to church over the Easter weekend. The Easter weekend is a long weekend for most people and it is celebrated by a lot of people across the world. Christmas probably has more people getting involved and many retail stores try to cash in on all the Easter festivities. | Since I have strated playing the piano. I will like to go through a few pointers that I picked up through my lessons. Point 1: Make sure you sit up straight. Posture is very vital Point 2: Know where Middle C is and get a good feel for all the keys. Point 3: Start by learning the scales Point 4: Learn to play chords Point 5: Practise makes perfect I have been practising like 1 hour a day and sometimes more. I try to fit it around my work and gym time. I'm sure we can make time to learn the piano. |
