| The city is aware that the bus stop is a mess?! |

| An e-mail came across the wires from the Director of the Neighborhoods Department, where the mess was first reported too in June, and I paraphrase here, that the city is aware that there are bus stops where people dump things and it is working with Tarta to get garbage cans installed and recycling bins installed. Gee, it only took almost 75 days to get a direct answer from someone in government. The e-mail also mentioned that the Tarta has a pilot plan to install garbage cans and recycling cans at some bus stops and the residents and business owners would help service the can. Great idea, but when there is no business owner or resident near by and the trash piles up show services it then? The city of course after the trash is reported. The question I put in response was; at this bus stop it can be seen in the images that it is located and bolted to the sidewalk, so who is reponsible for the bus stop, the city or the plaza owner? How many days before I get an answer? Hopefully fewer than 60. |
