| Dear Councilmen Ashford; I want to make you aware of the absolutely deplorable conditions of some the alleys and areas of the area in which I live and which you represent. There are alleys in the greater old Polish neighborhood there are littered with trash bags and not just one but piles of trash bags. Solid Waste does not seem to be checking the alleys after the change over to the sidewalk set out and it is apparent that the residents of the locations are simply not going to clean the mess up. Some of the pictured locations are unoccupied residences. This is simply incredible that the city would allow this to continue week after week after week and then have the audacity to put Toledo Pride signs, BAH! Clean the messes up and enforce the rules then we can talk about pride, but the images are not those of a pride filled neighborhood. I wrote to Solid Waste about alleys with trash bags on the ground, still, and asked if anyone was checking up on the alleys, the answer is apparent from the images. It just never seems to end. |
