With the recent dust up in Toledo about the trash collection rules, the alleys are relatively clean. A few alleys need attention as residents still have trash spilled on the ground and I have reported some. Even reported some that have not cleaned up trash spilled on the treeline or the sidewalk area in front of their house. How can people not care to pick up trash, I just do not understand. This is your city and you want trash in front of or near your house and because.....the city doesn't do anything....you put the trash there, pick it up. I suppose the next round of gripes will turn to the budget appropriations. Read some comments that Solid Waste is requesting more in the departments budget. Need to wait and see what the appropriations are before commenting further, but they know that I will continue to report the trash problems.
