We just had to nip out, and as our new dog barks quite a bit she gets put in a crate by the front door (so its as far away from next door as poss) the crate is just big enough for her- i cant put her in the big crate because its not sturdy enough, she can squeeze out if she pushes the bottom of the door.
she had a lampshade collar on to stop scratching her ear (after she annoyed the cat and it bit her) i left her with a bone and some chews and a hand full of dry food. she was fine when we left but i let my neighbour know anyway.
got a text to say the dog had been barking away but is quiet now
So we arrive home... and she was on the couch!!!
She had actually unhooked the top corner on the front of the crate, and pushed it out to escape. i have NO idea how she got out that gap with her shade on. she then rammed into the living room door (the only way it opens is if u bang it cos the handles broken) and was still asleep when we came in
