Saint is right. I've been selfish and thoughtless to complain about a typhoon ruining my summer vacation, while in other places, it's ruining people's lives.
The typhoon never ended up reaching Taipei, it just sorta went by. But some other places in Taiwan were hit bad, and a few places flooded. There was also this horrible landslide that claimed the lives of 15 people.
Sometimes, when I think real hard, I realize how lucky I am to be alive. Especially when I watch those disaster films (though some aren't even real), it just freaks me out to think that perhaps if I had been in a situation like that, I would probably be dead....

hurricane day

2 hurricanes came today, and if school had already started, then perhaps I wouldn't be so pissed. But no, the hurricanes had to come on my last week of summer vacation! So now I'm stuck at home with no place to go and nothing to do. What's worse, my photo shoot is this Thursday. If the hurricanes don't leave soon, then the photo shoot will have to be postponed til who knows when! Argahfa! 
One more week left till school starts....damn. I still haven't started on my summer homework.
