Well, I thought Maki Goto's return would be cause for joy, but instead it is the official end, it appears, of the career of the real woman and the continuation (and likely the worsening) of the last phase of her Hello! Project career.

I've already vented my anger on a website for fans, so I'll just keep it simple here. Maki Goto has signed with Avex and her new image, as it appears on her new site, is just plain trashy.

She had a great run while it lasted. Her idol character was loveable, she was the perfect "crush" for Taka-san and most of all, she has a great voice that she used in some great songs, particularly with Morning Musume, whom she helped propel into the pantheon.

Well, there is certainly nothing that an Internet surfer like me can do about the situation, so I'll try to forget about it for a while.
