Runescape offers a wide variety to make a significant amount of gold, second only to the possibilities to spend them. In order to make up for this inequality, this guide was put together. It lists and explains the most rewarding methods to make some extra coin. Asterisks stand for “members only” hints – but rest assured, the majority of hints are useable by members and non-members alike. |

Mining is and has always been a good money-making skill. The reason why is because many Runescape players use the art of smithing. The usage of smithing requires ores that players can only obtain through the mining process. Most players will forge equipments from the bars that they refined in order to resell to either other players or a shop for income. That’s why even though coals are easy to get, they are still worth a lot of cash. Other ores, such as silver, mithril, and addy, are also worth a decent amount of cash. The best place for obtaining coal is in the mining guild. However, if your mining level is under 60, then you may want to consider mining coal either in the Dwarven Mine or at any other spots that you feel most pleases you. If you have access to the mining guild (a minimum requirement mining level of 60 to get in), then you could earn up to 300 coals (around 37k) per hour. Mining is usually the standard route of investments that most new f2p players will take. |

Smelting ores into bars at a furnace is alsoa great way to make that first salary. What forging means is that instead of selling 2 coals and 1 iron for an estimated price of around 400gps, you can refine them together at a furnace to make a steel bar, which may sell for a whopping 500-700gps. Steel bars are the best interest for most people when it comes to making money out of forging because most other bars aren’t used in smithing as much or they just don’t provide the experience for people. Silver bars are also a good way to lean as some crafters will buy them for a good amount of cash. Most fellow players of Runescape that use the art of forging can make about 75k per hour. |

Fishing is best for most players when it comes to making money. Why? It is because fishes are the most efficient food to eat when it comes to player killing and combat training. Most fishers catch lobsters, swordfish, and *sharks more than anything else because they provide the best income. Not many free-to-play players will try and fish for money because the only fishing spot where they can catch lobsters or swordfish is in Karamja, and the closest usable bank to Karamja is in Falador. However, members have the benefits to enter a Fishing Guild and use other eligible fishing spots to make their money. The Fishing Guild is considered the best place to catch good cash because there is a bank close by the pier, and the pier contains several fishing spots. You are able to cage the spots for lobsters and harp the spots for sharks. The amount of money you can make fishing per hour varies and depends on the fish you are catching as well as your fishing level. Look down at the value chart to see how much each fish are worth. Players are able to obtain an estimated 50k+ per hour fishing lobsters and sharks at the Fishing Guild. - |

Logs are worth quite a good sum of money, most significantly to members. They are used both in fire making and fletching, which is the art of carving up logs into ranging equipments. Once a player reaches level30 woodcutting, they can began to chop willows, which are worth around a decent 25-35gps each. A level 40 woodcutter can make around 20k per hour chopping willows. As you progress in woodcutting, you will be able to cut down yew logs at L60, which has a much more higherworth and quality. The price for logs, however, can vary, depending on the buyer. Yews are averagely worth around 250- 300gps. Woodcutters of yew and maple logs can make an easy amount of 40k per hour. At L75, you’ll be able to cut down Magic logs, which is worth at 1k a piece. The best place to cut down Magic logs is at the woodland south of Seers’ Village. These players are able to receive the best advantage of woodcutting, averaging about 100k per hour with a good level and at a decent area. |
