I suggested another blogger on here trade in her Sex and the City version of Auld Lang Syne for the dropkick murphys version.

I didn't give her a reason..but truly, the dropkick murphys version is much more inspirational..sans the depressing down-beat.

bARTer Sauce is a pretty cool website. A bunch of artists sign up and you can trade pieces of art with eachother. There's a twist, though.

Everytime you trade, you have to give eachother a story about the piece of art you're trading.

So here is this large collection of people's ugly, defunked, unwanted, piled-up and collected "crap" art--and the stories that go along with them.

Am I the only one that got chills re-reading that? It's so awesome, isn't it?

I'm going to get an account tomorrow or later today.

I am doing this Fatloss4idiots.com diet. Going good so far. The only thing that I'm worried about is this;

If I eat lunch at 12 (meal 2) and I eat dinner at 5..if I get hungry in between lunch and dinner, do I eat meal 3, and then put meal 4 at dinner?

Anyway, I'm on day 1..so I guess I'm about to go eat my kiwi fruits for meal 3..

Also, everything's great w/me and randy. it's awesome. Terrific.

And..we're getting the apartment done rather quickly. Infact, just a few more things and I can move on in (which is good..because I'm moving in in like 9 days..)

I pulled out my Sega Genesis (generation II) and bought a copy of this game that I have been trying to beat for YEARS..
Now, it's not that I couldn't beat it, it's just that there are no such things as save cards for Sega Genesis.

(Everyone under 20 is looking at this and going "OMFG!! WTF U DO WIFF OUT DA SAVE!?!?" and Everyone 20+ is like.."Mhm..I know -exactly- what you mean..I didn't ever beat Aladdin cos of that..").

I mean, it's like this, you know how with an NES or SNES, the game will save onto your cartridge? Well, ..(and before you go "oooh! Okay, I get it it's like that!"--let me correct you..) if it had been anything like that, I would've been the game.

On a Genesis (mine was II generation, btw), the game didn't save. Period. Most of the games were for people who had a full 4 hours to play video games..or..were things like football, baseball, quick little sporty things. (Games you either spent hours playing, or games you played for a few minutes).

Well, as a busy 8-9 year old, I didn't have that much time to sit there in my room playing Pocahontas over and over and over again..for hours at a time..

So ever since I rented it at the tender age of 8..I've been wanting to beat it. It's frequently on my mind. I loved the game ever since I saw the beautiful graphics and watched the movie..Pocahontas..is just this beautiful Creek Indian princess..and I love how she looks..and is portrayed on the game..
Even the music isn't half bad. (And as I told my boyfriend Randy, if you hook your Genesis up to an HDTV..it looks very similar to the graphics on a Play Station (1) on a normal TV..)

So..I was going along playing it..just now, when all of a sudden...
IT FROZE.
OMG!!! I HAD ALL THE DAMN SPIRITS AND IT FROZE...

Here's where Genesis makes up for it's ..lack of..well..genius.
On the occasion (when you complete a chapter of a game) it will spit out a password unique to your gameplay.

For example, the password it spit at me (and I was lucky enough to write it down) was :

[bird icon]1(or I)O(or 0)NM7.

So..that's a pretty unique feature to the genesis, I think. Although, I'd have liked to see some save cards, honestly. Because although it gave me a me-unique password, i played it a bit longer after it gave the password to me..and then it froze. I was probably on the verge of getting a new password.

So..suckola, right?
And..my eyes hurt from looking at multi-tonal blues...for hours at a time.

I was watching King of the Hill..the one where Hank Hill has to vote in the 2000 election.

If you don't know this one, Hank Hill meets Bush Jr--and vows not to vote because of Bush's terrible limp-noodle hand shake.

In the end, Hank Hill goes back to the US (I'll explain that if you really need it to be explained) and..votes for Bush.

Somewhere in the episode, it's said that "A man's handshake..blah blah blah..Bush..blah blah blah..We need someone with a handshake that tells foreign leaders they can't run around on us and our president won't push the button.." blah blah blah.

Well, if I'd presented that right, it would've been better and funnier.

My phone calls with Randy-lovey-dovey have been great!!

What if I told you a revolutionary new birth control was on the market. You'd laugh and say "I already saw that commercial..it said that blond girl wasn't a real doctor..".

Then I'd say "Nope..a femcap."
