Mood: touched
this evening i had a good run at about 6:30. i then went to dinner @ Main Meal & then went to get a letter from Cara. right now i am sitting here at the house watching Hannity & Colmes on Fox News; the most Conservative news agency on public television. myself, being a liberal - actually do watch Fox News because i believe that in order to be better qualified in the vast arena of politics, it is mandate that one have an upstanding knowledge of both sides. plus, i like hannity & colmes because Alan Colmes is a liberal like myself, and i think that he balances out the show quite well. tomorrow is a full day. i have a geology lab exam that i still havent studied for and will WITHOUT A DOUBT, fail! this will probably be my first 'F' of the semester. work is going well. still doing the same old same old, although in police work - nothing ever remains the same. i still can't stop dipping & this troubles me deeply. i need prayers and help in any way i can get. but then again, everyone says - riding around in a patrol car all day can't make it easy to quit dipping when you have been doing it for the past 5 years approximately. i am still upset that Senator John Kerry lost the election to George W Bush. it troubles me likewise that the Republican party played the moral card, once again, and gained the support of the people that only care about 3 things; there guns, God, and NO gays! they hate fags, they want their guns, and they love God. however, i love the Lord with all of my heart. i have been a Christian for quite sometime and i still have liberal views. it strikes me as odd that the people that hate gays are the ones that go to church the most. if i am not mistaken, Jesus Christ loved EVERYONE... gays, lesbians, whores, fornicators, beggers, thieves, etc... he loved everyone! i just wish that the peopl that proclaim Jesus as their savior, as i do, would see everyone in the same light. this is something that bothers me. maybe i am biased because i see things differently from my long-term studies of policing and criminal justice and i see how different people and the 'bad side' of society is. i accept people for the way they are and try my best to love everyone and respect them equally, if they deserve that respect. i just have no respect for people like Bush, who play the morality card and use it to gain popularity and votes. if you can't win politically then don't bring religion into the game and use it as a crutch to win over votes! that is deplorable & unacceptable! before i close this post, we must give credit and respect at the utmost level to our veterans today, as in it is Veternas Day. this day and holiday is a highly over-looked day that should be given off to everyone in those who have served and fallen in service to our country. i just get so emotional over this it's not even funny. i love someone who takes it upon themselves to lay down their lives for this great nation that we live in. i would also like to thank my father for serving mine and his country during the Vietnam era in the United States Navy. my father is my hero and my love for him exceeds any other human being on this earth. i hope to have the family and respect that this man has among all who know him when i am older and much wiser as he is today. once again, my feloow americans serving in the war over in iraq, whether or not we support the war you are currently fighting valantly in, WE SUPPORT YOU & ALL OF YOUR DIE-HARD EFFORTS BEYOND EVERYTHING! your efforts and sacrafices are NOT in vain and if no one else recognizes this, i do and my name is Clark Tucker. you have me backing you and behind your efforts with all i am. once again men and women, THANK YOU & may God Alimghty bless you all and long live the United States of America!!!!
