I just finished watching a rerun of Lost I haven't seen yet. I think it's a pretty interesting show. I don't watch much TV, so Lost is pretty much the only show I watch. Although it's not really groundbreaking, I think the first season was sort of a comeback of drama to primetime television. Well, at least Lost is an alternative to sitcoms and reality shows.

riotradio Bones Mar 4th, 2006 4:37:52 pm - Subscribe
I haven't been on lately mostly because I haven't felt that interested in blogging. I'm not bored of it exactly, I just haven't felt like being on the computer so much.

Anyway, I found some bones in the canyon by my house today. I believe they're thigh bones on a deer or something. They were in the creek, which has been dried up for some time. If I could find my camera, I would take a picture, but I can't, and it's not my best find. I found a deer skull and several bones of a deer one time. Strangely the bones disappeared one day...

riotradio Bored Feb 25th, 2006 2:13:05 pm - Subscribe
I'm bored almost to the point of depression right now. I feel ok but I have nothing fun to do right now. I need to develop a new hobby or something because I have too much free time on the weekends. Uhh...I'm also so bored I have nothing to write about. What a depressing entry. I'll write about exciting things tomorrow hopefully.

riotradio Anyone seen The Time Machine? Feb 24th, 2006 8:28:42 pm - Subscribe
I just finished watching it about a half an hour ago. I don't know why, but I really like this movie, despite the fact that it's a Warner Bros/Dreamworks picture. I'm not much of a movie critic, but I hate most Hollywood productions and the like.

Well, today was a pretty good day. I'm really, really hungry and am about to have a pizza in 20 minutes or so.

I felt like trying something new today. More like, I felt like trying something new 5 minutes ago...microwaved orange juice! I know it probably sounds gross, but it isn't bad. It's like hot and sweet at the same time. But it's not phoenomenal. I've had some bad ideas, like strawberry syrup in orange juice one time, also ice cream and potato chips...those are REALLY gross. One of these days I'll accidently invent a new snack. But it's going to be a while at the rate I'm going and the weird ideas I'm coming up with.

riotradio New background Feb 22nd, 2006 6:51:18 pm - Subscribe
After spending about an hour trying to change the text color, I gave up and spent an hour today getting this background in the template.

Either way, today was a good day. I got a 76/80 on my history test. I would have liked to have broken 100 so I could dramatically raise my average, but I should be really happy that I did this well, so I will be.

I got a new CD today by a band called Strung Out. They're a fairly decent punk band in my opinion. Much better than most bands on the radio. Well, that's all for today, I guess.

riotradio That history test... Feb 20th, 2006 6:45:45 pm - Subscribe
...was the single hardest test I have ever taken in my life. 20 of the questions were review from the first semester and I forgot all of that. Also, even though I read 5 chapters for the history test, it didn't help me, because I couldn't remember the names of the people and what they did. Either way, I get 10 extra points for doing a test review and we have a 17 point curve, so that's 27 extra points on the test. (That's out of 80 because there were 80 problems, so that's even better.)

Either way, today was a pretty good day. It's been rather cold and rainy...but I don't let that get me down usually, and it doesn't bother me today either. I guess I don't have much to write today, maybe tomorrow will be more exciting.

...so I'll keep it short. I want to keep this background, but I can't figure out how to change the color of the text. I guess I don't have much of a choice but to learn HTML, so that's what I'll be doing tomorrow morning hopefully.

riotradio Skip Day Feb 17th, 2006 12:50:35 am - Subscribe
Everyone needs a day off once in a while. My day is tomorrow.

I'm cramming for a history exam (I know, really interesting, right?) that's tomorrow, but I'm not going to school to avoid taking it. I have 5 chapters to read by Monday, about 150 pages of textbook goodness. Now that I've read a chapter, I can tell you everything you didn't want to know about the settling of the American west.

Anyway, all this work is really cutting into my free time, including my blog time, so I may not be on here quite as often. It's quite sad, because I enjoy blogging and find it's a good form of self-expression, in a way. I can rant and rave for hours about anything and there will always be somebody to leave a nice comment about it.

riotradio More about the shells... Feb 12th, 2006 2:15:20 pm - Subscribe
Now it's been 3 days since I gathered those shells, and I think a few of them were alive. I'm not sure now because I think they died between then and now because I assumed they were dead and they've now been out of the water for 3 days.

Anyway, I cracked one open to see if it was alive, and I'm not sure if it was or not then, but it's dead now. I looked at the clam's inner structures and it's pretty cool. I really wish I could find the camera. There's like some yellow goo stuff in there and I poked it and it felt like silly putty.

I still feel bad about it because I may have killed that clam. Either way, the deed is over and done with, and I learned what the inside of a clam looks like.

riotradio Saturday morning Feb 11th, 2006 11:51:39 am - Subscribe
I remember when I was ten years old I would watch cartoons on saturday morning, just like every other ten year old American kid. Then I realized how crappy cartoons really are and how they use the same jokes over and over again. Cartoons are evil. They're made for kids who don't know how formulaic and don't know that they're ripping off the same old jokes and story lines. But not all cartoons are like that, I guess.

But, it seems that kids and pre-teens are easy targets for corporate industries. That's why Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network will always be around. There will always be new kids to watch their shows, regardless of how good or bad they are, because they don't know any different.

Well, I think I'm giving the writers a hard time, but I think the writing a cartoon for children would not be very difficult. Just rip off any old cartoon at random, put in some slapstick jokes and there will be an audience of children to watch it on Saturday mornings.

Saturday mornings...speaking of which, why don't kids play outside on Saturday mornings anymore? Well, I know I never did. I was always playing video games. I could go on forever like this, so I'll stop now. Bottom of the line, I should get off my lazy butt this morning and go run. But I probably won't anyways.

It seems like I had many interesting things to post in my blog today, but I feel as if I'm out of ideas. By the way, I feel like I would rather write short entries not only because I don't always have the time to write an extended entry, but to also not bore a person to death with useless ramblings. Sort of like what I'm doing right now.

Either way...yeah. I have nothing to say interesting today, probably because I'm trying too hard to remember what I wanted to say. I guess that's it for now. This is a blog about nothing, sort of like the Seinfeld series. I enjoy Seinfeld a lot and I personally think it was quite groundbreaking as far as sitcoms go.

riotradio What I did with my free time today. Feb 7th, 2006 10:13:58 pm - Subscribe
I found a lot of shells at the lake by my house because the water is down. Now granted, shells aren't always the most interesting thing in the world, and these don't look all that great, but they are pretty big, some of them are about 8 inches long. It was quite a haul I pulled off today. I usually don't collect shells and have no idea what to do with them. Maybe I will give most of them away.

riotradio First Entry Feb 7th, 2006 1:08:25 pm - Subscribe
I just registered my account and this is my first journal entry. I've never really written a journal before, so this is a new experience for me. I had a journal when I was in 4th grade and I used it occasionaly. I'm hoping that this journal will be a success, because I made this journal as an alternative to MySpace and hope others will quit using MySpace and join an ad-free blogging community like this one.
