Cant help but notice a very disturbing statement made by Kong Hee during the Ezekiel bible studies.

He said that anything that takes the place of God, church, etc, is an idol.

Since when is it that anything that takes the place of church is an idol? Is the church God? Is there divinity in the church? Can someone show my the bible verse?

I'm very certain my kids are not going to chc anymore that's for sure.

In heaven but far from the throne of God?

And you've used the story of a young girl to justify this?

Give me the Book, Chapter & Verse. Proof, Biblical proof please.

Where is chc going with all these preachings?

Grace is unmerited favor?

I thought KH mentioned during the Cultural Mandate preaching that grace is empowerment from God?

I thought they taught this in their Bible School? Grace is not unmerited favor, but supernatural empowerment.

This weekend's sermon is telling me this... by the "great" KH of chc.

The Bible never said so.

Neither did the Bible say that being able to love is the proof of one's salvation. Can any Christian out there tell me if I'm correct.

I'm no longer sure what message is being preached from the pulpit of this church anymore.

Enough to say chc will not be getting anymore of my building fund donation. Too much has been "sacrificed" for a rental.

And obviously not the tithe.

Easter aftermath, more building funds?

I'm wondering, when will the next building fund be?

I really feel cheated of all my years of fund raising to get what is in the end a RENTAL house. Something that I can use only on the weekend even.

What was promised was a land and place of our own. NOT a rental.

How many more times are we shifting this year?

Oh yes, chc owns a small share of a holding company managing Suntec.

What if the company decided to not manage Suntec anymore? Returning Suntec to their owners?

I'm just asking.
