It is difficult to see the historical Jesus in the Gospels, different from the mythical Christ.
Historically, he was a Jew faithful to Jahweh as he cried "My God. . ."on the cross. He was naturally born based on text that James the brother of the lord was son of Alpeus, younger brother of Joseph. Jesus was clannish like a typical Jew as he told his apostles not to reveal the Good News to non-Jews, not even to unorthodox Samaritans.
The mythical Christ was a miracle worker who ordered world evangelization in the name of the Father, Son, Spirit. The trinity was a fifth century doctrine.
