St. Paul wrote: "If Christ has not been raised then empty is our faith (1 Cor. 8:14).
There are evidences Christ escaped death from the cross: (a) soldiers spared Christ (not the 2 other convicts) the customary crucifagium/shattering of legs w/ an iron club for sudden death (b) he was quickly snatched by soldiers away from Calvary (c) the stone was rolled, the tomb open, strange since a risen body could pierce walls, as in the Upper Room (d) his burial cloths were neatly wrapped (Mt. 20:6), hinting at people who revived him (e) historian Josephus testified that some Jews escaped death during crucifixion. No death, no resurrection, empty faith.
