Mood: spirited

Norman Vincent Peale's "Enthusiasm Makes the Difference" is a priceless pocket book i got from a second-hand book stand.

I see the roots of enhusiasm from "theo" or God and "spirit." God made man to be spirited to life. But there are physical, psychological, cultural barriers. The maimed, mentally sick, racially biased may have less in life's fullness.

My Jesuit mentors-- Fr. Pollock, Fr. Lynch, Fr. Azzarraga, and others- showed so much spirit in their priestly career. As models, they inspired their students to higher spiritual attainment in life.

"God breath life into man." (Genesis)
