More figures from the 2011 Census:
11. Sunshine Coast 209,263
12. Hobart 170,975
13. Townsville 166,254
14. Geelong 157,930
15. Cairns 133,908
16. Darwin 103,016
17. Toowoomba 96,567
18. Ballarat 91,803
19. Bendigo 82,794
20. Albury-Wodonga 77,232

Since 2006 Hobart has overtaken Townsville and Geelong. Hobart's total has been boosted by the inclusion of the outer suburbs of Kingston and Bridgewater. Darwin has shot from 24th to 16th. Much of Darwin's growth of 36,725 has come from the inclusion of the satellite city of Palmerston.
