Every Friday Claire and I lead a lunchtime group at our local primary school. It is called SUPA club, which stands for Scripture Union Primary Action. Five students came today. It is such a joy to play games and teach the students about Jesus!

The excellent school chaplain, David, preached at our corps on Sunday. David challenged us to get involved in the harvest field of schools ministry. He read Jesus’ words from John 4:35-36, ‘Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for the harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.’

DreamHost reviewClaire and I have received new appointements. As of January we will be Corps Officers at Busselton, Western Australia. We are looking forward to this new challenge. We are moving from a Tasmanian beachside town to a Western Australian beachside town. From all reports Busselton is a wonderful place (as is Dodges Ferry).

Twenty years ago I was a 13 year old in country South Australia, preparing to go on a big adventure with my family. My parents had been appointed as Corps Officers at Alice Springs. I loved living in Alice Springs, where we were for 4 years.

As we prepare to move to Busselton, it is also a big adventure. We have never been to Western Australia. We are looking forward to serving Jesus in the Busselton community and corps. We also hope it will be a good place to live for our two sons.

On we march with the Blood & the Fire!
