Heroes of the Faith

I want to pay tribute to my heroes. These are men and women who, like the first disciples of Jesus, have given up everything to follow our Lord. They have given up their careers, their homes, and have moved away from their family and friends. They have been willing to go wherever God sends them. They have served God faithfully through good times and bad times.
These heroes are Salvation Army Officers.
Last week I attended Officers Fellowship. The guest leaders were Lt Colonels Ian and Marilyn Hamilton. It's a joy to learn from and be with officers like the Hamiltons. I love officers who are passionate about building God's kingdom. I love officers who are passionate about knowing God. And I love officers who are passionate about winning their community and the world for Jesus! Thank you for inspiring me! You are my heroes!
