I foudn this on Ricks blog, I really really love his poetry.

You snap,
A branch off a dead tree
Walking slowly.
Walk with me
Anytime you want
Anything you need
Darling I’m ready
And time is fading
So do me a favor
and Don’t leave me waiting

please close your Eyes
I’ll take anywhere
I’ll take you anywhere
Just tell me where
I’ll take you anywhere
please close your eyes
And tell me where

You crack
Open a can of pop
Moving forward
Need to stop
A break you want?
A break you got.
But darling I’m ready
And time is fading
Please do me a favour
And don’t leave me waiting

please close your Eyes
I’ll take anywhere
I’ll take you anywhere
Just tell me where
I’ll take you anywhere
please close your eyes
And tell me where

You look
At the distance we’ve come
from our plateau
a long run
Is this all there is?
You, me and the sun
Well lets keep going
our time is fading
Let’s get higher
New levels of creating.

please close your Eyes
I’ll take anywhere
I’ll take you anywhere
Just tell me where
I’ll take you anywhere
please close your eyes
And tell me where

Tips for Preparing for A Wedding/Marriage
by FrosT

Introduction
As most of you know I am getting Married on May 28th, 2006 to my love Lyndsey. I was thinking today about some information it would be great to pass along to other people deciding/thinking to get married to each other. Hopefully you will not make the same mistakes we made (which were few I assure you).

Saving for a Wedding
Lyndsey and I started saving for our wedding last April by creating an account and putting around $50-$200 each month into the wedding savings account. This helped tremendously! I just wish we would of started October of 2004 instead of April of 2005. That would of helped soo much. We are doing alright on money, luckily I have a credit card which limit just got bumped up. I have about $500 on it related strictly to the wedding.

If you are doing a "dream" wedding I suggest planning at least a year and a half away by starting a wedding saving's account. Put at least $50-200 in it a month from both sides. My whole philosphy is that I cannot ask someone for a lot of money when it should be my responsibility. Meaning that I would not ask her parents to fund our wedding, nor would I ask mine. I like to be independent. That and us funding our wedding ourselves gives us TOTAL control of where, what and how we want to setup our wedding.

Remember that, do not rely on your parents to fund it for you. If you do create this wedding savings account and put that much money into it, than at the end your parents end up paying for almost everything, great. You have a nice down payment for a house, or some money to use for your honeymoon. That and maybe you can get your parents a nice gift for doing this for you. Appreciative of their help and support.

Planning
Remember that your site is top priority. Without a site you cannot get married. Plan ahead as you can save yourself alot of money and hassel. We found the perfect site and moved our original date back a week and saved $1500! Although the wedding is on a Sunday on Memorial Day Weekend it was worth it to us to save $1,500.

Check out every spot before you decide. We looked at probably 12 wedding sites before we decided on Mt. Vernon Event Center, which Lyndsey and I both decided was the perfect wedding site for our marriage, which was also the cheapest wedding site out of all the ones we looked at. This process took about a month and felt good once we got the site booked. This was in August of 2005.

Tux's and Dresses
Bridesmaid dresses are very important. You want to get this out of the way about 3-6 months from the wedding. That way you are not cramming at the last minute to find someone to get 3-4 dresses to you in a week! Plus it allows time for alterations, which will most likely need to be done.

Tuxedos for the groomsmen are just as important. Lyndsey and I made the mistake of waiting a little too long. We just recently got our tux's taken care of, which leaves my groomsmen about 2 weeks to get measured, not good. I feel bad that I did not take the intiative to get the tuxedo's for our wedding done sooner. Luckily we did have some leadway with about 2-3 weeks. I would not want to make this mistake again.

Food Preperations
This is perhaps one of the biggest part of the wedding. Food is expensive and necessary for almost any wedding. We were lucky enough to have Lyndsey's cousin cater for us! Which means we got our food for free. If this would not of happened we would of been out $1,500. Try to find a cheap place that offer's decent meals and book them and get it taken care of ASAP. Without food you will have alot of grumpy guests.

The Minister
We again waited a little long to book the minister. Despite what anyone tells you, book the minister ASAP. This way they can move their schedule, if they are with a church. It also provides you with the fisrt come first serve. They cannot book 2 weddings at the same time, this way you are assured your slot for a minister at your wedding.

Ending Notes
Organization and Preperation are keys to any wedding/marriage. Do not make the same minor mistakes we made. Get on top of things to help with your fiance's frustration and your own. Planning out the wedding gives you the breathe easy feeling and that way you have time to make any changes necessary to your wedding. But remember all that really matters is the marriage to your loved one. If nothing goes as planned except the minister, than so be it. At least you can be together forever.

Also remember you can go off and get married in Las Vegas, and have a "fake" ceremony after which would be a ton cheaper =)

Last night was fun, It included drunkeness, alot of marijuanana, and swell music.
Showed up at Pleasent Valley around 6ish, saw some people, Some people were pissing me offf. Inmaturity as always. The first band was awwwesome
"Pie in the Sky" Sooo good Adams band. Great Singer+songs. The next band, I forget which was quite great. The singer handed me his camera, and asked him to take some Promo Shots of His Band. Nicenice. I think the pics turned out good.

Nextttt...
Found Rob outside. Oh Rob...He's depressed, He's numb. I can tell He's not doing good. I weep for him. I do. but I really do Have feelings for him, and Like him alot. He's messed up right now though. Then we went to the bleachers, some shitfface girl yelled out "Hey Rob how was hte Psych Ward", Which was relaly ignorant.

Found Nicole. Shes gorrrgeous. To Bad shes straight HA. We got some awesome joints. 2 for 4$. and smoked one, then put the other in the pop can. Yum.

Then there was kinda a little fit between Adam and rob, Adam was playing Rob's guitar...Then Rob kicked him in the But really hard...annnd threw Rob's guitar. But it wasn't broken. Rob just got really pissed, Then took a walk, than came back. They apolized good.good.good.

I shouldn't fucking absorb others peoples feelings so much. Negativity. Karma. Comes back.

Next.
got out my Fireball, mixed it in with some Soda, Shared. Got quite tipsy. Good shit.

I wanted to fucking kiss him so much that night, So much. I just wanted to hold him.. to make His pain, His sadness somehow disapear, dissolve into thin air. It doesn't work that way. It seems like he won't accept that much love right now. But thats ok. Maybe He's not ready? Or Just wants to push away? Thats ok. I understand.I understand.

Oh, and as usual, the police showed. hah They always do. For some reason. I was holding onto Rob. he was holding me? It was the best 2 seconds of the night, Even if it wasn't fucking real.

Then the boy had to catch His bus. I walked him to the bus stop, He walked a couple paces up...I said to him "I hate how I like you", "I hate how you like me to".

Then next thing u know his bus was there. I said bye, and gave him a hug.

cry.gif

Then when I returned....Jake and I smoked a bowl...Heather was quite intoxicated hahhh so her lovely boyfriend was keeping hte hair out of her face while she vomited. Poor Doll. I gave her my water. Lainy was drunk. And we were just talking about nonsense. She's so cute and funny when she is drunk!

Then meee and Caittte cuddled with Joel cause we were cold. Then next thing you know, The Night was over.

I'm glad my mom didn't notice I was drunk.

    Final Day
If anyone knows me I am as honest as I want to be. This blog is no exception. The final day I could not go any longer. Here is the story:
I must of gotten some type of bug on Friday (Thus the crappy feeling and almost throwing up the whole day) Although I stuck to the plan all day on Friday, Saturday was a different story. I woke up with a sore throat, and wozzy stomache plus light headed/dizzyness. I ate very little that day, I think I had a slice of pizza and that was really it. Reasoning I stopped was I was too drained I could barely get out of bed and than being sick with a fever and sore throat just made everything wrose.

I do not know why I got sick, whether it was the toxins coming out or what. All I know is that I got sick, which really contradicted everything I heard/read about Isagenix. I had been keeping up with Isagenix to a T except for the exercising, which I did do 2 or 3 of the days. This was one of the hardest trials I have been through, and I have proven to myself that food is low-priority in my life. I can survive without food. I have noticied (maybe it is because I am sick) but I do not crave food as much as I used to. I drank a soda today, not enjoying it at all because I could just taste the sticky sugar.

Whether this is due to the fact of Isagenix or because I am sick I do not know. Like I said I can go longer periods of time without eating or eating very little. I now limit to what I intake. For instance today I bought some pizza bites, that I did not even touch. I had some tuna and crackers for lunch and a powerbar for breakfast. Around 2 I had a snack of ChexMix which I only ate maybe 1/6th of the bag, which normally the whole bag would of been devoured.

As for candy, I ate 1 hershey's kisses and that is all I wanted. It tasted alright but I just had no need for anymore candy. Whether this was a result of Isagenix again I do not know.

    Ending Notes
I do know one thing that I have learned from the whole Isagenix Expierence, I control my body. I have full control on what I eat, and when I eat. A great feeling to know. I will inform you of how this progress keeps up after I am over being sick. My fiance is going to start her Isagenix Cleanse here in a day or two. She is skipping the pre-cleanse (I think that as way too much) and just starting out with the cleanse. I will try and get her to do a blog on it too.

Now if this works for her I will probably buy another 9-day program and see if I cannot make more progress on getting these "Toxins" out of my system.

Thanks for reading, sorry I had to cut short on my last day.

    velouria Local Businesses - NOT Wal-mart! Apr 24th, 2006 5:06:57 pm - Subscribe
Wal-Mart is the blight of the United States! Having not bought from them in almost two years eases my mind a little, and to see that there are so many concerned citizens out there makes me feel better!
They came into my town years ago...I shopped there; I loved it!
Then after Sam Walton's death, I realized what their goal was: domination. They force mom & pop shops out of business. There is no way to compete with a power-buyer-and-seller.
Just last winter they left their building vacant and moved into the newly built Super Center about 2 miles down the road from the existing WM. They built it on beautiful farmland that once had horses playing in the fields. Now the part of town they were in is dying. Four restaurants have opened at the new location, while the restaurants at the other lose business.
The poor neighborhood where they built the Super Center! The light pollution is horrible! The crime rate will go up in that neighborhood. What is even sadder is that the families that lived around the new Super Center were renters. They were forced to move out and find another place to live.
Oh, and the trees! The beautiful trees! There are several HUGE oaks lining a driveway across the road from the SC. They will soon be gone...and no one cares.
Everyone is so greedy...thinking about themselves, not their kids or grandkids, not the effects on local businesses. Close down family-run businesses and offer them minimum wage jobs with scanty health benefits. Offer them a job making half what they previously made!

velouria My Niece Broke Her Teeth!!!!! Apr 21st, 2006 10:58:53 pm - Subscribe
I never did post this the other day!
Monday, my 13 year old niece was riding her bike around a church building. She hit a hole or something and hit a concrete wall with her face. She broke out her two front teeth! It was horrible. She is in middle school...and just remember those years...you didn't need to break out your teeth!
She was devistated, as we all were! My sister could hardly tell me. At least she didn't lose her eyesight or her life though!

Her knee was all scratched up as well as her chin, upper lip, and forehead. Her lip was quite swollen, and her nose looked broken from all the swelling.

She went to the dentist the next day. They gave her a root canal on one tooth. Then they made her two fake (plastic) teeth that she will have to wear until her 20s. Once her teeth stop growing, she can have some pretty veneer teeth made.

After the dentist visit she was in a lot of pain, and her gums were black with bruising.

This is NOT a picture of her teeth, but it's the closest thing I could find. I just took a pic, copied one side, and flipped it onto the other.

International Airplane Trip Delta Name Change
    by FrosT

    Introduction
For the past week I have been talking with Delta Airlines trying to get a name changed on an International Flight to Cancun for Lyndsey. The Delta Flight to Cancun is for our honeymoon. My dad accidently reserved the tickets under Lyndsey Worthen, instead of her maiden name which is Cunningham. The first response I received from Delta was that International Flight's cannot be renamed period. We had to provide a valid Marriage Certifcate to get her on. Well we would not have our Marriage Certificate back in-time. Here is the story.

    Call after Call to Delta
After my 3rd time calling regarding the exact same issue I finally got through. A nice lady called up their customer support, and I guess did a super override for us. That is the happy ending. We were able to finally get Lyndsey's last name changed to Cunningham, for $100. That is a great price to know that she will be able to return home from Cancun. Delta Reps. were nice, but come on now. I know you can change the name of the ticket so just do it! Why is changing the name of a ticket, which is 2 months off such a big deal. I understand the international part, kind of but really, what is the big deal with changing a last name?

It is not like I am transfering the ticket to someone else, the first and middle name are exactly the same, just a mistake with her maiden name. All in all if this happens to you, remember Delta can do you just need a valid argument and a sympathetic one.

    Ending Notes
If you ever get your ticket issued in the wrong name and are willing to pay the money to get it changed pursue this angle. Just tell them the truth and if that does not work say, "Well this lady who just transfered me told me I could do it, please confirm this because I hate being lied to." and chances are they will change your ticket for a fee.

    Day 10 - Cleanse Day
Today is about the opposite day of Day 9. I feel horrible. I drank the Isagenix Cleanse Drink today, tropical flavor and immediatley after drinking it I about threw up. These drinks taste horrible to me. I have 7 more 4oz glasses to drink. My stomache is totally messed up today. I feel horrible, with a few dizzy spells. I do not want water at all, but I am forcing my-self to drink it. I do not even want the Isagenix Snacks. I do feel that I have not stuck to the program completely. I only exercised 2 days of the 11 when I needed it to be at least 11 days 20 minutes a day. Could be partialy why I am not seeing the results I thought I would. That is my own fault either way.

I cannot figure out why the Isagenix Cleanse Drinks taste so nasty to me and make me just wanna throw up. I may mix 4oz of water into the next batch I choke down, maybe that will soften the blow of the horrible taste. I am dreading these last 2 days. I just want the Isagenix 9-Day Cleanse to be over for me. 1 Day left and I am about to break because of my stomache feeling like crap. I am debating whether I am seeing results or not. I guess I will find out tommorow or Sunday, when I take measurements and step on the scale. I will be very upset if I do not see results, but I do feel it will of been my own fault for not doing the exercise part of the Isagenix 9-Day Cleanse.

    Day 9 - Shake Day
Last night was good, I was able to get my exercise in via Dodgeball. I feel energized today and in a great mood. I am not even hungry right now and it is almost noon. That exercising must of kicked something in and now I wish I would of done at least the 20 minutes of exercising a day like Isagenix suggested.

The shakes taste decent cold. I am awaiting another 10-15 minutes for my Turkey Sandwhich. Yum! I am dreading tommorow's Isagenix Cleanse Day. Those juice drinks are nasty. Hopefully I have the same mentality as today so I am not dieing of hunger tommorow. Isagenix has opened a whole new outlook on my life. Isagenix has shown me some inner strength I never knew I could possibly have. It is not easy sitting at a table at a resturant watching everyone else eat great smelling and looking food. Nor watching everyone eat a hamburger and french fries, cake, ribs or Qdoba in front of you.

At any rate I am doing good today. Not much hunger and very thirsty. I am on my second 33oz of water. I will fill up again after lunch. I am feeling much better on this Isagenix plan today than I have in a while.

    Toilet Paper Dodgeball Fun
    by FrosT

    Introduction
Tonight I went to church with my brother in law and we played Dodgeball. A very fun and intuitive game. Dodgeball is a fun sport to play with around 30 people, where you dodge balls, or objects that look like balls. If you do not have any dodgeballs be creative and make your own. I will tell you how to create your own dodge balls using house hold items such as Toilet Paper and Duct Tape.

    The Dodge Ball Supplies
Make a stop at your local Safeway and buy about 36 toilet paper rolls to make the toilet paper dodgeballs. I say 36 toilet paper rolls so that you will have extra because you will need it. Next buy a few rolls of duct tape to help avoid a mess and make some nice throwing Toilet Paper dodgeballs. Once you have your suppliet to make the Toilet Paper Dodgeballs, it's time to get cookin'!

Making the Toilet Paper Dodge Ball
Now that we have our ingredients for the Toilet Paper Dodgeball it is time to cook up some dodgeballs. Crack open the package of toilet paper and pull them out. Make sure you have a dodgeball storing container such as a box handy to put the finished toilet paper dodgeball's in. Take a roll of a toilet paper and wrap duct tape around the toilet paper so it goes with the roll. Once you have the roll of toilet paper all covered in duct tape, go long ways with the duct tape to finish off the toilet paper dodgeball. The duct tape startegically wrapped around the toilet paper roll will make for a nice and solid toilet paper dodgeball. Repeat the above process for all 36 toilet paper rolls until you have 36 toilet paper dodgeballs.

Get Ready for Toilet Paper Dodgeball
Now you have your homemade Toilet Paper Dodgeballs. Get a group of 15-30 people together in a gym, or even outside and play some Toilet Paper Dodgeball. Do not worry about ruining the Toilet Paper dodgeballs, remember you made extra's just for this purpose. Once all is said and done you just had a load of fun playing Toilet Paper Dodgeball for roughly $20.

    Ending Notes
    Enjoy playing Toilet Paper Dodgeball!

The Magic Bullet - Save Your Money
    by FrosT

    Introduction
The Magic Bullet is a horrible product. I felt it was my obligation to make a post that will get internet hits to let other people know and not be fooled into buying The Magic Bullet, a sucky peice of crap machine. Everything on the Infomercial that the actors, which is poorly acted, do is 500x harder in real life.

    Smoothies with The Magic Bullet
Making a smoothie with the Magic Bullet turns out completely wrong. Lumpy, and not mixed very well. Anytime ice is introduced, the Magic Bullet's effectiveness drops dramatically! Despite what they show on the infomercial, the Magic Bullet does not make smoothies very well at all!

    Chopping and Mincing
Make your own salsa they say. Chop onions without the smell! Bull crap. While trying to chop onions, the chunks came out way to thin. Following their guidelines every step of the way, anything you tried to Chop or Mince with the Magic Bullet, did not come out like it was intended to. Save yourself an onion and chop it by hand instead of using the Magic Bullet.

    Small and Compact NOT!
For the size and storing all of the Magic Bullets components a Blender will save you more space. The Magic Bullet came with 4 Cups, a Large and Small blending containers, 2 blades and of course the Magic Bullet in itself. Now the 4 cups are at least 12oz and the large container is 20oz and the small is about 8oz. Plus the cups have handles on them. Pain in the butt to store. Their is no counter-top storage for that. Now consider that against 1 blender. To me the blender, which mind you is only $20 as appose to $50-100, is a much better deal than the Magic Bullet.

    The Magic Bullet Recipe CookBook
What another joke. I paid the $15 for the Magic Bullet 101 Cookbook, there was nothing new in it. Everything in the Magic Bullet 101 Cookbook was again a joke. What have I come to expect? Nothing in the cookbook would be what I would want to make. The majority of the recipes were smoothies or something ridiculous like that. No real meals, and on top of that anything I made from the Magic Bullet 101 CookBook tasted bad. Was not even worth the taste to try.

Cooking with the Magic Bullet HAH!
This is the biggest joke. Especially if you are cooking for more than 1 person. Since The Magic Bullet's containers are soo small it barely makes 1 serving. Because the Magic Bullet only makes 1 serving you have to dirty up every single one of the containers, and clean them 3 times just to make 1 meal. In the time it took me to mix the ingredients clean and re-clean the Magic Bullet, because you do not want garlic flavored tomatoes, I could have had 5 other dinners made by hand.

    Ending Notes
The Magic Bullet is not worth the money you spend on it. Honestly, take the $50-100 and go buy your wife something nice, like flowers or a necklace. I gurantee you will get more satisfaction out of that rather than getting her this Big, Messy, Unefficient and Space Hog of a machine called the Magic Bullet.

DO NOT BUY THE MAGIC BULLET. IT SUCKS AND IS A BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!
